The location and the photos

I question if the placed was cleaned before our arrival. I did text the contact. On Bookinh. The bed was filth and bent in the middle because no proper foundation. We clean the kitchen. Horrible we did not finish out stay. The wifi connection did not work The floor rotten out of shower. I travel and use Booking. You get these once in a while! Hopefully they will find a solution.

A super deal

I travel to Lille every month or two because of work / family. This property is my second favorite in town. The only reason it only comes in second is because of poor sound insulation from the street, which the hosts can’t really do anything about out it. Otherwise, a great place to stay — close to the Citadel park and the central area at the same time. What’s important — they take criticism seriously and did improve between my two stays here. Definitely coming back.

Again, there may be noise from the street (but not at night, nights are quiet)

Location in Old Town a huge advantage

Unfortunately , although described as a “studio” Booking.com described the flat as having two bedrooms . Very misleading as our attraction to the property was based on this and the value for money this represented. I believe now corrected. Shower malfunction reasonably quickly repaired by the local contacts.

Weekend stay

Good Location to historic centre and the Citadel, easy walking. Easy check in-out, very good communication, very accommodating for an early check in. Amenities for kitchen a bit tired, fantastic shower, washer and drying rack very convenient (especially after a week travelling).

Mattress and bedding. Bed is an old sofa with the mattress on top. I would like to see that improved. Mattress and pillows look very tired.

it is too old and definitely required a renovation. it was really bad smell of sewerage - which went into all our stuff for weekly stay. Floor shook of each step.

Perfectly located apartment for short stay

- location, - quite comfortable bed, - good internet, - perfect instructions at the check-in and the check-out

- lack of contact with the concierge team - until the last day they didn't respond to e-mails, phone calls, messages over WhatsApp and via Booking.com. - lack of air conditioning, but the location of the apartment and quite mild weather doesn't make it a big problem, - unpleasant smell from the toilet room, - lack of table/desk to work on, only high bar-style table/counter with bar chairs, - the apartment is quite loud, the entrance door doesn't really attenuate outside noise from the stairway, - stairs to the first floor are steep and narrow and there's no elevator - it may pose problem to disabled people or those with heavy luggage.

Appartement assez spacieux avec tout les besoins pour un séjour longue aussi. L’adresse vraiment très bonne parce que on à tout à côté ! Un véritable sèche serviette classique serait mieux dans le salle de bain !

Hébergement de qualité, bien décoré et permettant de s'y sentir bien.

Prudence lorsque vous renseignez un horaire d'arrivée, le ménage peut être en cours jusqu'à cet horaire. Je me suis fait avoir après un imprévu dans mon organisation. Au moins une des chaise grince. J'ai eu un peu froid et pas de couette supplémentaire disponible. Le lampadaire étant pile au bord de la fenêtre, les rideaux peuvent être légers. Et petit détail qui pourrait tout changer, avoir une chaise près de la porte pour enfiler ses chaussures.

Appartement très appréciable, hôte prévoyant. Mais très bruyant...

L'agencement de l'appartement, la communication avec l'hôte, la déco, le gel douche et shampoing à disposition.

Il faudrait un micro-ondes. Les fenêtres ne sont pas en double vitrage et c'est horriblement bruyant. Nous n'avons pas fermé l'œil de la nuit... Il faudrait également ajouter une brosse pour les toilettes.

Appartement correct mais on peut trouver mieux sur Lille

C'était très complexe de valider le paiement de la caution (200 euros pour une seule journée!) , il avait aussi l'assurance à valider... je ne m'attendais pas à tout ça. Il faisait très chaud dans l'appartement et nous n'avons même pas un petit ventilateur. Pas de possibilité de rentrer un petit peu plus tôt.
