Good location but needs improving

The location was really good. Close enough to walk to the centre and away from the busiest roads. The kitchen though small was well kitted out. The pull-down bed was easy to open (though broken) and more comfortable than we expected. The A/C. Parking.

The mosquitoes ... we were bitten dozens of times in the night; at least one plug-in repellent is required. The electrics ... wires strewn across the walls and extension sockets added to extension blocks suggested the circuits were overloaded.

Nice apartment. Too bad there was no hot water

The place was easy to find and get into. The instructions were clear. The room was clean and had plenty of coffee. The underground parking was easy to access (but reeked of urine). The fold out bed was surprisingly comfortable.

No hot water. We could not lock the door from inside.

Good location and parking

Good location in a quiet gated courtyard. Property had air con. Easy walk into Lille. Secure parking was a bonus although in the next street. Prompt communication from owner Michel.

It's an easy walk to Lille's Grand Place and all the city centre attractions. You can see the end of the Palais des Beaux Arts as you leave the mainentrance.

location is good. walking distance for eating and shopping

if you drive you will find it hard to check in and park. you need to park somewhere alongside the road the. check in , get the garage key (which is 5 mins from residence) then park your car. Check out process is also as complicated as check in

The bed is a pull down bed in the living room so the apartment is small. However, it is reasonably priced in the centre of the city with parking, so expectations need to be realistic. Bathroom is a little tired but clean.

Great location close to but just outside historic centre. Bakery close by and easy walk to area with plenty of eating and drinking places. Food at Chez Max excellent. This is a studio apartment so space is limited but it has everything needed for a short stay including coffee for the machine. Very cosy on a cold day. Host quick to respond to questions and access easy following instructions. Great to have the parking place round the corner.

Good value for money. Easy location and good communication from the host. Apartment generally nice and as expected.

Sheets smelt like unwashed, though the owner maintained they were washed and did not offer a change. Apartment was a little unclean. Background ringing noise was a little disruptive late at night.

Nice, quiet and clean apartment

The location was nice and quiet and the place had everything that was needed. The check-in was easy and contactless but the contact via email was still friendly and helpful. Everything was clean.

Unfortunately, it had been a very hot day, and although there were fans provided, the place was too hot to sit inside, especially after cooking. It would have been nice to have some basic spices/oil provided in the kitchen.

Great stay in central Lille with parking!

Location is excellent for central Lille and sightseeing, and is quiet at night. The private parking was easy to find with clear instructions on how to access. The flat is fully stocked with essentials and amenities for making simple meals and hot drinks (fridge, hob, microwave, utensils, a kettle and coffee maker). Good shower. Two fans/air coolers provided which helped with the heat. Useful to know that there's on-street parking outside the flat which is free between 7pm-9am Mon-Sat and free on Sundays, which helped a lot with dropping our luggage off before leaving the car in the private car park.

There isn't a chopping board which could be useful! The property is accurately described as with other reviews, bed is hard and it does get hot (we opened the door to let fresh air in which helped a lot, before using the fans). But we anticipated this. Excellent value for money stay and good communication with the owner!

Quiet, Central and Clean

quiet, central location. we stayed one night and had a lovely walk around Lille in the evening. we were there during the heatwave and made use of the shower frequently during the night. Great place to stay (just try and avoid a heatwave if you can). Free, secure parking was also a bonus.

Just the temperature. Opening the front door required some work with the key, but think that was due to the heat warping the door.

The apartment was in an excellent location for walking to sights, it was simple but had everything you could need. The coffee machine and fan were especially appreciated. Owner replied really quickly to queries. Parking 2 minutes walk away in secure parking but can pull up outside apartment courtyard to unload luggage. Boulangerie Papillion: pastries and bread, Paul Patisserie: pastries, bread, hot chocolate and coffee (including Sundays) - both 2 minutes walk.

Perfect stay for both business and leisure

Great location in a calm neighborhood, while being center to many tourist attractions. Owner is responsive. Possible to check-in late in the evening without the hassle of collecting keys. The apartment has all the basic necessities for a comfortable stay

Good, affordable apartment, convenient for a short stay in Lille.

Fantastic location only 5 mins walk from town. Free parking in a secure location just around the corner. Excellent communication with Michel, our host, who allowed us to park a couple of hours before we checked in. Ladies, no need to bring your hairdryer as the one provided is great - much better than my own! The mattress was very hard - just what I needed for my bad back! I actually woke up with no pain in my hips for the first time in years 😀

We couldn’t get the tv to turn on. Not a major problem but like to watch the news over breakfast. The shower door, at the bottom, was covered in scum ☹️
