Les Cariatides

Appartement magnifique, moderne et parfaitement équipé. La douche est excellente. Les boissons (bière, eau, boissons vitaminées), le café, le thé, les chocolats et les biscuits offerts sont très appréciés. Même sans climatisation, l'appartement reste très frais grâce à un ventilateur puissant et à la conception du bâtiment. J'y ai été beaucoup plus à l'aise que dans certains hôtels climatisés. L'emplacement est idéal : supermarché, métro, bus, Printemps, Vieux-Lille et de nombreux restaurants sont à quelques minutes à pied. Le quartier est calme et très agréable. Enfin, le propriétaire et son fils sont d'une grande gentillesse. C'est l'un des meilleurs hébergements où j'ai séjourné. Je reviendrai avec grand plaisir !

Amazing location, super clean, and had everything we needed. The instructions to access the keys were very clear so I didn't have any problems checking in. The bottles of water in the fridge were a nice touch especially in the heatwave! No AC but the fan was very effective.

Les Cariatides is a very good base from which to explore Lille. I would suggest it is ideal for a 2-3 day break rather than a longer one, just because there is relatively limited space in the apartment. Still, it is in a great location and close to many amenities. It also has many facilities of its own, although there is no oven if this important to you - there is a microwave though. The host was outstanding by being pro-active with advice in advance of our stay and then extremely helpful once we arrived. Overall, the apartment is great value for money and a base we will use again when visiting Lille.
