Review of Villa

Bathrooms were nice. House was very spacious. Nice little lounge area. Had t-bags and sugar in kitchen which was nice. Some of the bedrooms were nice. Nice little shop and cafe nearby.

It was grotty. Stains everywhere. Door handles were broken, ceilings were coming away. Some of the beds were uncomfortable

Horrible.

The location.

Everything in the house was dirty. Cobwebs mould the garden was unsatisfactory the kids couldn’t play outside. Holes in walls doors were hanging off. No hoover to clean. Holes in the carpets. No privacy as some windows didn’t have coverings especially the bathrooms so anyone could see us showering. Some radiators weren’t working which meant parts of the house were freezing cold. The cooker wasn’t safe the children turned it on without anyone knowing and was filthy. Because of the state of the apartment we have all come back with colds and flu.

Perfect for families or large groups

There were 14 of us away for a 30th birthday. The pictures don't do the house justice, it is so spacious and brilliant for groups. Many other places that can accommodate large groups will have several beds in one room, however this place has 6 bedrooms all with double beds, one with an additional single, plus sofa beds so people can have a little more privacy. I had no idea when I booked that we were about 30 seconds away from a proper fry-up (Ellie's) which we attended twice. Very clean, quite traditional and beautiful decor, and had loads of toys and stuff for families.

This isn't really a negative as it kept it affordable, not so close to city centre but only a 10 minute taxi away!

An excellent stay!

There's a simple key code door so no need for keys. There are 6 bedrooms, all decorated lovely and all clean. Great little garden, wonderful kitchen, comfortable beds, bedding for the sofa beds too (and good sofa beds not like old fashioned pull out beds).15 mins max taxi from the center, a few handy shops around, Lidl And M&S up the road. Only 2 loos and showers, would be good to have one more but it worked fine when spaced out.
