Comfortable stay in a quiet location with spectacular views

Quiet location about a 10 minute drive above Stresa with fabulous views of Lake Maggiore. Comfortable clean room with patio to enjoy the views. Great friendly hosts, good breakfast with lots of choices. Had a great dinner at Cardini restaurant a short walk away. We loved our stay here.

Great B&B in an authentic Italian village

This is a wonderful B&B in a beautiful location in a small village on the mountain, accessible via small streets. With a very beautiful view of the Borromean Islands from the balcony! We were warmly welcomed by the owners, who were very helpful in booking a restaurant and choosing fun trips in the area. The breakfast was well organized. Stresa is very nice. We were there in the late season so luckily it wasn't too busy. In short, it was a great stay!

Andrea and Valeria were super hosts! Me and my girlfriend very much enjoyed our stay at this cozy and beautiful B&B. Andrea gave us great recommendations on beach spots around lago maggiore and even took the liberty to book us into a great restaurant just a couple of minutes walking distance as we were arriving a little bit later in the afternoon and it being busy season it was really appreciated. Authentic and comfortable room with a stunning view over the lake from the bedroom and the bathroom. Great little breakfast as well with a selection of mortadella, salami, cheese and sweets (Panna cotta was amazing) Overall a great stay and we would recommend anyone to stay with Andrea and Valeria

Perfect place with beautiful views

Valeria and Andrea were exceptional hosts. The room was well appointed with wine, water and sweets awaiting us. There were soaps and hairdryers. The beds are comfortable. Breakfast was the perfect mix of sweets and savory and the recommendations they made for tours and dining were all lovely. It was the perfect place for us.

Andrea e Valeria sono due padroni di casa super accoglienti e gentili, ci hanno dato tantissime dritte su cosa fare durante il weekend. Colazione super, struttura bellissima e spaziosa, con una vista pazzesca, posizione strategica a pochi passi da Stresa. Weekend di grande relax! Spero di tornarci presto, anche per rivedere Olivia (la cagnolina adorabile che abita lì).

La bienveillance de Andrea et sa femme tout au long du séjour. Andrea parlé très bien français. Le super petit déjeuner au coin du feu (poêle à bois) La propreté de toutes les pièces. Le très bon restaurant situé à 300m à pied : la cucida (conseil de Andrea)

La difficulté pour circuler dans les rues étroites mais ça a le charme d’un village escarpé.

Très bon accueil et disponibilité d'Andréa. Jolie vue sur le lac majeur. Le petit déjeuner à base de produits locaux était copieux. Jolie déco et propreté impeccable de la chambre et cadre agréable de la salle à manger. Nous avons apprécié le calme et la sérénité de la maison.

Deux petits bémols à notre séjour : la difficulté de stationnement et l'accès à la maison avec des bagages.

Andrea und Valeria sind super nette, sehr engagierte Gastgeber! Wir haben zum Frühstück immer sehr leckere Sachen bekommen und es war immer von allem reichlich da! Valeries homemade Kuchen und Kekse sind traumhaft! Parkplatz war überhaupt kein Problem, die Lage ist herrlich ruhig und mit tollem Blick über den See. Man kann alles gut erreichen!! Das Zimmer ist liebevoll eingerichtet, geräumig und tipptopp sauber!! Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Een fantastisch verblijf om het meer en de omgeving te bezoeken

De locatie en de gastvrijheid! Stresa is een goede uitvalsbasis voor diverse uitstapjes. De B&B ligt een stukje hoger op de berg in een rustige omgeving en je bent toch snel bij het meer. De eigenaren zijn super vriendelijk en lief. Ze zorgen voor een prima ontbijt in de ochtend en geven tips wat je zou kunnen doen in de omgeving.

We kunnen geen negatieve punten bedenken!

Accueil chaleureux, chambre impeccable avec une vue très jolie sur le lac. Le site est un peu à l’ecart de Stresa avec l’avantage d’être au calme. Un excellent restaurant à 10 min a pied, Cardini, avec vue sur le lac.

La tranquillité , le calme de l'établissement avec ses balcons et terrasses bordes de jasmin . Les personnes qui gèrent l'établissement sont adorables . Le petit déjeuner est TOP , produits locaux ( charcuterie / fromage ...) , et produits maison: banane cake , foccacia .. Le resto il CARDINI a deux pas est excellent . Accueil et cadre exceptionnel, des hôtes d'une gentillesse et dune disponibilité rares. La chambre et la maison avec ses extérieurs sont à l'heure image et propice au repos et à la détente. Conseils précieux et infos pratiques (routes, restaurant, commerces...) et en bonus une soirée apero avec Valéria et Andrea... Sans oublier Olivia. Si nous revenons dans la région, nous reviendrons à Il Pggiolo 😍😍

Petit déjeuner excellent, copieux. Gâteaux fait maison. Petit déjeuner en terrasse extérieure. Un vrai bonheur avant d'affronter la journée. Les hôtes sont très agréables et aimables. Un accueil chaleureux, sympathique. Vraiment un séjour très appréciable. Nos recommandons vivement cet établissement.

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt im B&B Il Poggiolo in Stresa sehr genossen. Die Lage ist ideal – ruhig und doch nahe am Zentrum. Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber und gepflegt. Ein besonderes Dankeschön an Andrea und seine Frau, die unglaublich freundlich und hilfsbereit waren. Absolut empfehlenswert!
