This is a Lake Como must stay!

This was the perfect place for my wife and I. We love the artistic charm and design from the entry to the room we booked. The property was clean and charming. Our room had a shower steam room which was an extra bonus. We can not wait to return to Como and thus will be our place.

Comfortable and fun!

Boutique hotel with only a few rooms, each with a different theme. Bathroom had a steam function, loved its style! Close to many restaurants, coffee shops, shopping, and 10 minute walk to the lake and the lferry rental office. Fifteen good minutes to train station reached up a set of three twenty-step tiered stairway.

It was a little hard to find, mainly due to my Apple Maps which misguided me for some unusual reason. Also we could not locate a grocery store n walking around or in Maps

Great Location, friendly staff

The Location was great, walking distance of basically everything in Como, and the port is only a few minutes away for day excursions. The staff were really friendly and I like the QR code for location information.

The room was beautifully decorated, comfortable really well located.

As there was no parking on site, we had to park in a car pork a short walk from the hotel. The car park was really expensive - €100 for 3 nights! Maybe the hotel could find a more affordable alternative for its guests?

Fabulous Hotel.

The room was amzingl and the staff were very helpful. It was very close to the trainstation, ferry port and all the sights and restaurants. Added bonus of being infrint of the Duomo.

Exquisite room in a wonderful location.

Perfectly located directly opposite the cathedral/ duomo, a few minutes walk from the lake. Shops / cafes on your doorstep. Staff were extremely helpful, helping with directions/ ferries/ taxis. The room was very spacious - interesting and beautiful furnishings, comfortable bed, air conditioned. Lovely sitting area as well as sleeping area. Shower was an experience in itself with all of its spa like settings. Just stunning and lovely and clean.

The window from the bathroom straight into the bedroom was unexpected! Full on view to whoever’s in the bedroom of you showering, but if you’re a couple it’s probably fine!

Definitely worth a stay!

Big, quiet and comfortable room - you don't hear any noises from outside. Excellent location - opposite of the cathedral. Nice and helpful staff.

The seat in the steam bath is not heated. The cleaning lady forgot to give us cosmetics on the first day and the free coffee hasn't been replaced.

Beautiful location exceptional quality prestigious accommodation

I asked for a room with a view and I got a fantastic room — I loved the decor the smell the people the cleanliness it was very good — and the staff were amazing provided me with ironing facilities

The driver I hired could not find it —- and when I was dropped off into the pedestrian zone it took a while for me to locate the entrance behind the busy restaurant—- perhaps I should have checked the myself the access locations

FANTASTICO!!!

We just stayed at the spectacular Vitrum! It was more than a Hotel, it was an experience! And a fabulous one at that! The location could not have been more perfect, sitting right across from the Piazza looking directly at the gorgeous Duomo! There were multiple restaurants on the Piazza as well as hundreds of restaurants all around the entire area. Lake Como was literally less than a five-minute walk from the Vitrum. You could easily hop on a ferry for Lake Tours, a ride to Bellagio and the other areas around the Lake. There are so many restaurants all around the Lake, you will have a hard time making a decision on where to eat! You will not be disappointed in the loads of fabulous shopping either! Even though the Piazza outside the Vitrum was super busy, the inside of the Vitrum was extremely quiet! We had a great sleep and never heard anything outside the walls! The building that the Vitrum is housed in is very old, but the fantastic owners renovated it, and it is completely modern inside with absolutely beautiful furnishings! No detail was spared in this Hotel or our room! The bed and bedding were pure luxury! The Aroma Therapy Shower was enormous and absolutely the best and most beautiful shower ever! The towels were even fantastic! Big and soft! The bathroom had the best lighting too! Perfect for a girl that loves to put her makeup on with good lighting! So important! The staff was superior and went out of their way to help us with directions and any other questions we had. Thank you, Antonella and the other wonderful girls! While staying at the Vitrum, we were fortunate enough to meet the lovely owners, Alberto and Graziano, who were just amazing! They were so warm and welcoming to us and took the time to tell us all about the Vitrum and the fabulous building and the renovation! We thank them for their kindness! We will always cherish our stay at the Vitrum and we can't wait to return to stunning Lake Como again in the near future!

We loved the unique aspects of the hotel as well as the location!

Room was very unique and comfortable. Easy access with code given at check in. Quiet even though right in the middle of a busy town square. Good air conditioning which was appreciated in July. Liked that they had hallway lights that came on when needed. Great location in town.

Room had no view. No breakfast provided but obviously not a deal breaker for us. The hotel was difficult to find in the old town area…maybe some walking directions would have been helpful as it was strictly a pedestrian area.

Great location, quiet room, exceptionally clean and it had everything you could possibly need.

Felt a little dark, lacked natural light. The toilet and shower rooms had no privacy which would be fine for a couple but I was sharing with my daughter.

This hotel is BEAUTIFUL and very unique. Our room was comfortable and spacious, and our view was spectacular. The staff is incredibly friendly, which made our trip much easier. They helped us call vendors and translate what we were saying in Italian. They were also very sweet. When they learned we were celebrating our wedding day, they surprised it with a nice bottle of Perseco. The hotel is very close to the lake, shopping and restaurants.
