谷町君 星屋 樨ノ宿 清水寺

The room itself was excellent, clean, in a great location, and had everything we needed. The staff was incredibly helpful and very quick to respond. If I could give them a 15 out of 10 I would.

The unit we stayed in was like a studio apartment with wall partitions that didn’t go up to the ceiling. This just meant that there was some light and noises from the teens while we were trying to sleep. Not a problem if everyone goes to bed at the same time.

Clean, the house has everything we need, many details are very thoughtful

This was by far the best place we stayed in all of Japan. The place is very well equipped and has enough space for a family of four. The tub in the bathroom is a nice addition. The place is walkable from the vibrant Nishiki market, the Gion district and the main shopping districts. I am definitely going to stay at this place the next time I am in Kyoto.

Nothing major but the wifi strength was not that great throughout the house.

Beautifully well appointed home. Close to major sites but quiet enough to feel removed from the crowds. Large house with lots of living space. Deep bath and modern bathroom. Comfortable beds and air conditioning in each room. Washing machine/drier which was great while travelling. Friendly and attentive staff when you needed assistance. Ten min walk to train station or a quick 15 min walk into main shopping areas. Quiet at night. Little bakery a couple of doors down. Would definitely stay again when next in Kyoto. Highly recommend.
