Outstanding location. Beautiful property. Reiko the owner of the Machiya is excellent at making sure we were comfortable. It was like a home from home feeling. Highly recommend this location and best place to stay in Kyoto.

The property was in such a great location and was so clean and tidy and welcoming when we arrived. It was cosy and warm and everything was explained to us in detail. The beds are the most comfortable on our trip! Like sleeping in a warm cloud! 😂🫶
