Fantastic apartment, great location.

Fabulous apartment in a great location. Spotlessly clean. 3 huge double bedrooms. Ideal for 2 adults and our 2 teenagers. Comfortable beds, flatscreen tv in each bedroom. Powerful shower with plenty of hot water. Loads of towels. Great kitchen facilities which we made use of. Loved having a washing machine and tumble dryer, no washing to do when we got home. Apartment is only 15 minutes walk to the royal mile. Its uphill but that was OK with us. Bus stop only up the road if needed. A good Tesco express nearby too. Would highly recommend this apartment and will certainly book again if returning to Edinburgh. ** The information video etc that was sent prior to our arrival was extremely helpful. ** We used the discount code for Bounce storage as we arrived on an early flight. Thank you. ** The Cumberland bar up the road is an excellent spot for drinks and dinner.

Great way to experience the quiet residential area of New Town.

Spacious and comfortable for five adults. Enjoyed having a kitchen and living area. Loved being able to walk to the Cumberland Bar.

We had trouble with Google maps directing us to Cumberland Street Lane NE when we needed NW. Once we found it initially it was easy to get to.

Five Days in Edinburgh

The apartment was in a lovely area about 15/20 minutes walk from Waverley station. Although away from the bustle of Edinburgh there are lovely coffee places restaurants and bars near. To my mind perfect for seeing all of Edinburgh. I would recommend visiting a pub near the apartment, The St.Vincent, as quirky and individual as any in central Edinburgh.

Lovely apartments, spacious and warm, with a few tweaks would have been perfect.

Rooms were a good size for 6 adults, good location.

Boiler wasn’t working when we arrived, luckily someone in the group sorted, wardrobe space was limited in 2 rooms. No welcome pack (milk/biscuits etc) which is now very common to get. We did enjoy our stay here, just a pity checks hadn’t been completed before we arrived.

There is no parking facility so that is a bummer. Would also not advise to hire a car if visiting just Edinburgh.

It was spacious for six people and met all our expectations

There was no parking near by which made it difficult with our elderly mother. Would have been nice if this information was clearer when booking the property. Also the TV in the main sitting room did not work as advertised with little enthusiasm from the owner to assist with rectifying.

Good

Lovely flat with really comfortable bedding and sheets - we all slept so well! The kitchen had everything you need including crockery, dishwasher, oven and cleaning equipment. The heating was great and very easy to use and the WiFi was excellent. Multiple smart TVs with sky and YouTube which was great. Iron and hairdryers were great too.

The property was quite difficult to find, even with the video. If you put it into google maps use the POSTCODE not the flat number/road (as this will take you to the other side of the road about 5 minutes away). Once we realised we were on the other side of the long road it was much easier to find. My only complaint was that the floor did not seem very clean and was quite sticky. My whole family thought this too. I would stay here again if the floor were cleaned properly because it was otherwise a great property.

Really modern and comfortable apartment. Lovely walled garden with table and chairs when the sun makes an appearance.

Blackout blinds in the bedrooms would be a nice addition. Step in bathroom, one of us had a bad trip on it which was unfortunate.

Da vores 2 drenge skulle sove sammen, ville de gerne undgå at dele en dobbeltdyne. Der var kun dobbeltdyner med tilhørende betræk i alle værelser. Vi fandt en ekstra dyne i den ene skuffe og spurgte om vi kunne få et tilhørende betræk. Men det var ikke mulig, fik vi at vide. Vi løste det ved at købe et i det lokale supermarked. Måske vi kunne have bedt om det inden?

We had a lovely stay overall, but unfortunately something unsettling happened on our last evening. It seemed like there was a power and Wi-Fi outage. As a result, the TV switched to another channel and the dryer started beeping. Shortly after, the alarm went off. My wife was already in bed, and the children were really frightened. We ended up making a plan to all sleep in the same room. Not long after, it happened again, and this time I couldn’t reset the alarm and there was a little panic. I wasn’t sure what to do, and then Paul showed up at the back door. He turned the main switch off and on, and after that the alarm could be reset. It was not a pleasant way to end our stay

Une Table pour 4 au lieu d’une table 6 personnes, Wifi coupé la veille au soir ainsi que le chauffage. Il y a une fente de boîte aux lettres sur une porte où nous n’avons pas accès et un matin nous avons vu du courrier au sol et lorsque nous sommes rentrés plus tard le courrier avait disparu. Pas très correct de rentrer dans l’appartement lorsqu’il est occupé.

Wunderbare Lage. Busanschluss fast vor der Haustür. Water of the Leith Walkway in der Nähe. Muss man machen. Die Wohnung hat alles was man braucht in toller Qualität. Toll eingerichtet. Wir fühlten uns direkt wie zu Hause. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Ein Einführungsvideo hat die Wohnung ausführlich beschrieben. Super Idee, klasse umgesetzt.
