Huge negative: the bed was extremely uncomfortable. And I’m not usually one to complain about beds — I’ve traveled in 30 countries, and this was still one of the worst I’ve had. It felt almost like sleeping on a folded cot rather than a mattress. -No window: to get some air, you have to open the door, which gives directly onto a shared garden… meaning theoretically, anyone could walk into your room at night. Not very safe or reassuring Mosquitoes in the room (and traces of them on the walls), which made the night even more difficult Very expensive for what it was (around $400 for two nights), especially given the quality of the bed

Very clean accommodation with excellent communication.

The property was very clean. Bed was very comfortable! Noise level was minimal and the surrounding area had some lovely restaurants. I highly recommend checking out the local pub called Rione. Nice area and felt safe.

Not terrible if you are on a tight budget and just need a place to stay

It was good value and not in a bad location, still walkable to the city center. The man who runs it was very nice and helpful. The AC worked great

The shower was too small to effectively shower in, it was not very clean, it felt more like a hostile than a hotel or apartment, the bed felt like hard cardboard, the resident above was a bit noisy with footsteps and moving chairs. Since there are 3 rentable rooms that share a hallway and kitchen area, It felt like I was a guest at someone’s home and had to tip toe as to be considerate and not disturb them. Everything was very dated and felt like a traditional Italian home from the 60’s. There was not much noise isolation between the rooms so you heard every time someone came in or left their room or the unit. The back yard was cute but not really maintained. Ultimately it served a purpose as a place to stay but I would probably not stay there again, not a horrible experience but it felt more like I was staying with a friend of a friend vs at a hotel or apartment.

They were very friendly and accommodating letting us store our luggage several hours before our check in time. Kitchen was accessible for coffee and water anytime and refrigerator if needed. Our room opened to a garden area. First floor with only a few stairs for access.

The location is quiet and close to a bus route, but far from most of the popular sites of the city. We stayed 3 nights and our room was not serviced during our stay. Not a huge deal except clean dry towels changed out would have been nice.

Amazing and would 100% stay again!

The host was very nice and accommodating. We got to the room earlier than our check in time and he allowed us to keep our bags there while we explored the city. We also had travel plans later than check out and he let us stay in the garden. Such a beautiful room with useful kitchenette amenities. The garden is also so gorgeous.

There was only one set of towels each but we were able to make it work for two days. The shower was also small.

Quiet stay with beautiful garden

We stayed for one night on a room with private bathroom and we loved it, specially the garden area. The room, kitchen area and the garden were clean and well prepared for us and the neighborhood was really quiet. We we surprised. We want to thank for Asim for being available to leave our luggage in the middle of the morning and for having our room already prepared when we got there. And always being available on the WhatsApp for any questions we had during our stay. Definitely recommend and we’ll be back!

Feels like home.

We liked how much room we had to spread out. There was four of us and there was plenty of room for more. The beds were large and firm. It was great having more than one bathroom. The kitchen was big and well equipped. The garden was nice to have a drink outside or just to hang out. There were grocery stores near by and shops and restaurants too. Air conditioning worked really well.

Great stay for those who seek a quieter Florence

We loved the decor and how well equipped the house was. The location was great for us, as it allowed us to escape a little from the hustle and bustle of the city and get to know little gems like some cafes and bakeries nearby. The host Paola was very communicative and friendly. I'd follow the suggestions she leaves in a folder.

On our arrival the house was very dusty. The garden we couldn't enjoy because of the mosquitoes. The beds were very hard for our liking and the fridge didn't work too well, but I'd stay again.

A good, cool hide away from the hustle and busle of the city center.

The location was very good. Away from the crowds in the centre of the city and close to parks, good restaurants and shops. The location had airco, which was good at 34°C in Firenze and having a good night sleep. Everything was available for making your own food in the kitchen and relaxing in the garden. Coffee was available. The host was very vriendly and gave us information for good restaurants. I suggest everybody try them!!! It was nice to have a garden for the cool mornings. Matras was also ok. The venue was quite. The street was not too busy. The neighbours were friendly. If I would go to Firenze, i would book the location again.

Maybe some explantation on how to recycle waste. We found out ourselves. For the rest, no problems.

It was like a stay in your family's member home. Everything that you need for comfy everyday living was there, from variuos types of tea, coffee, olive oil, new set of pots, thru place to sit in the garden. Paola, the owner, was also very kind and helpfull and let us leave our luggage before agreed check in time.

There were only two bathrooms in the apartment, while in the offer there is information about 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. One of the guests had to use bathroom in different room and it might be a little annoying when you have longer stay and want more privacy.

Paola was a treat. We were very happy to have the garden to rest in and enjoy the birds, and to put out our laundry! The kitchen and the bathrooms were extremely well equipped and there were many thoughtful touches.

The washing machine wasn't working - a bit of a disappointment.

The place is just perfect - cozy, clean and has everything needed. The area is quite and close to the centre. Also Paola is very sweet and kind host with a great taste for interior design. ;) If we go to Florence again we’d definitely choose the same place.

The apartment is charming- it has everything it needs (kettle, AC, stove- all in excellent condition), it's nicely decorated and the garden is lovely and quiet and a perfect place for a morning coffee. Paola was very helpful and friendly. She was there when we arrived, she showed us everything and she even sent me some information about free museums later during my stay. The location is great, in a quieter area but still within walking distance to the historical centre. All in all, a lovely, clean and carefully decorated apartment I would love to visit again.

Struttura adatta per brevi soggiorni

Pur affacciando direttamente sulla strada (praticamente un piano rialzato), la camera era ben insonorizzata almeno rispetto alla strada (non altrettanto invece rispetto all'interno della casa, anche se per fortuna gli altri ospiti si sono dimostrati molto silenziosi). La stanza era ampia e il letto abbastanza confortevole (non altrettanto i cuscini). Wifi perfettamente funzionante. Comoda la possibilità di usufruire della cucina/spazio comune con l'opportunità di accedere a macchina da caffè, acqua, bollitore. La posizione tutto sommato è accettabile, in relazione al prezzo che ho pagato, e l'autobus (almeno da/per la stazione) è abbastanza frequente e rapido.

Nonostante avessi comunicato (online) il mio orario di arrivo, entro l'orario previsto di checkin, mi è stato detto (telefonicamente) che ero arrivato in anticipo. Non ho comunque mai incontrato l'host che evidentemente passa in struttura solo in pochi momenti della giornata e quindi ho potuto interagire solo telefonicamente. Come già capitato in altri casi, mi è stato richiesto il pagamento in CONTANTI e ESATTI della tassa di soggiorno, cosa che trovo assurda considerando che ormai adopero esclusivamente pagamenti elettronici in tutti i casi (anche per cifre molto più piccole). In futuro sarò molto selettivo riguardo questo aspetto, al momento della scelta di una struttura. La stanza di notte era un po' fredda, considerando che l'unica fonte di riscaldamento era il condizionatore, funzionante ma forse non del tutto sufficiente dato il volume della stanza. Nel bagno l'acqua calda non è erogata in modo costante (durante la doccia improvvisamente usciva acqua fredda). La fornitura di asciugamani è ridotta allo stretto essenziale.

Es un lugar agradable,

Las camas son viejas, la individual es apenas un catre con colchoneta. La tienden cada 3 días así como la limpieza. No es un hotel es una casa con cuartos en renta. No tiene anuncio afuera y se confunde entre las demás casas. solo tiene numero afuera y nada más está totalmente cerrada con puertas de madera vieja. El dueño muy bien. Tiene cocineta común con todo incluido , tú lavas lo que usas. Está a 15 min caminando de la estación de trenes y a 25 o 30 min del centro. Supermarket cerca, en la esquina. Es un lugar de auto-hospedaje. .

ma chambre a pu être préparée avant l'heure prévue du check-in. Le centre ville se trouve à 20 minutes à pieds.

La salle de bain n'est pas nette (traces noires dans la douche) et le système d'extraction d'humidité fait beaucoup de bruit mais ne semble pas très efficace. Le système d'air conditionné ne permet pas de chauffer la pièce même s'il y a une option "heat". Les draps de lit étaient donc légèrement humides avant d'aller dormir... le confort n'était donc pas top !

Gut für Kurztrip, gute Lage, Sauberkeit verbesserungsbedürftig

Die Lage ist toll, man ist zu Fuß in ca. 20 Minuten in der Innenstadt von Florenz bei allen wichtigen Sehenswürdigkeiten. Es gibt eine Klimaanlage im Zimmer und Fliegenschutzgitter. Der einfache Check-In trotz früherer Ankunftszeit war super. Kommunikation lief unproblematisch und die Dame war total freundlich und nett. Das Parken und die Anfahrt war ebenfalls super, außerhalb der Zone und jede Menge Parkplätze ums Eck. Bezahlt wird am Ticketautomat. Super unkompliziert. Wir haben 2 Tage hier verbracht, für diesen Zeitraum war es in Ordnung. Bei längerem Aufenthalt würde ich etwas anderes empfehlen. Flur, Küche und Garten wird mit den anderen beiden vermieteten Zimmern geteilt.

Es dürfte etwas sauberer sein. Der Boden war nicht gewischt, es waren noch Flecken im Bad und Staub rund ums Bett. Die Dusche hat in einigen Ecken Schimmel. Meiner Meinung nach Kleinigkeiten die man mit den richtigen Putzmitteln einfach beseitigen könnte :) Handtücher sind ziemlich in die Jahre gekommen. Die Zimmertür wackelt bei jedem Luftzug, hat mich etwas unruhig schlafen lassen, fühlte sich nicht so „sicher“ an.

Schöner Aufenthalt mit der ganzen Familie.

Die Lage war für uns perfekt. In 20 Gehminuten ist man direkt in der Innenstadt. In der näheren Umgebung gibt es Supermärkte und alles was man braucht. Paola war sehr hilfsbereit und ein super host. Das Apartment war schön und gut ausgestattet. Die Betten waren sehr bequem und jedes Schlafzimmer hatte sein eigenes Bad. Parken war problemlos. Der Garten war "nice-to-have" :-)
