A comfortable bed to sleep but the rest was hard

Location was perfect for my work. The rooms are spotless.

The rooms are spartan. No wardrobe / cupboard for clothes. My room didn’t have a table and chair too but I was give one later. If you come late the gates are locked and you have to call someone to open them

Wonderful stay in Jaipur

Wonderful kitchen, simple and good vegetarian food! Had booked a single room so it is small but it has everything i needed. Lovely staff were very kind and helpful. Lovely property, cozy and well designed. Located in the residential areas but not far from markets, restaurants, etc. Great area to walk around. The property have 2 dogs, they keep me company while I'm having breakfast.

Depending what you're in Jaipur for, it might be a bit far from the usual sightseeing circuit. The wifi didn't reach my room so had to always go down to the breakfast room to connect. The dogs get noisy with strangers and barks loudly, if you're a light sleeper best to not stay in the ground floor room.

Pleasant

1) It’s clean and nicely done up. Lovely atmosphere! 2) The menu is varied and the quality of food is very good. 3) The staff are very helpful and pleasant. The two women who man the reception and manage the space are really nice!

1) The smell of sewage from the neighbouring large open drain that’s runs by (it’s covered by trees) gets a little overpowering sometimes. Would be good to have an air purifier in the room. 2) They also have dogs which is cool. One of the newer dogs is not trained, so if you’re out sitting for breakfast, watch out! He can climb on to the table and have a go at your breakfast.

Overpriced

The rooms are clean and the house is quiet. It’s well decorated, and housekeeping cleans the room daily upon request. The shower works well, and they provide good-quality shampoos and toiletries. There’s also a lovely art studio where guests can paint for an additional fee. The people working are extremely nice and the homestay manager is so sweet and helps you with everything you need.

It’s overpriced for what it offers. The first room we were assigned was next to the kitchen and extremely noisy, so we requested a change, which they did accommodate. The property is far from the main city attractions and there are no nearby coffee shops or restaurants. The prices at the in-house restaurant are quite high, and outside food or delivery is not allowed. Prices range between $6–$7 per dish, which is quite high for what is offered in India. The art studio is also expensive, with prices comparable to those in Europe. While it’s a pleasant option if you’re looking for a quiet, secluded stay, it’s not ideal if you plan to explore the city.

I stayed at Art Ghar for two days(13/12/2025-15/12/2025). It was a very cozy stay. Plus, they were sweet enough to give us a complimentary upgrade since we were there to celebrate my birthday. Loved everything about the property, every corner was so creative and beautifully curated!❤️ Absolutely loved the fact that they had dogs and an art studio at the property. We had a great time creating art with music in the background. Unsa, their team member who showed us around and did the formalities was the sweetest! We didn’t face any problem when it came to any sort of service(be it coming back late and getting the door of the house opened, timely breakfast, 24/7 drinking water, car wash etc.). We met the owner too, who was very gracious and suggested places for us to visit in Jaipur.

The only drawback that we found was that there was less space to keep our stuff in the room(lack of almirah and drawers), which is fine if you’re staying for a short period of time but a shortcoming if staying for more, never the less, it was negligible.

Beautiful artsy hotel

The Art Ghar is a very beautiful, clean, and artsy hotel. Rooms are cozy, nicely decorated, and well maintained. The staff are friendly and hardworking, and the three hotel dogs add a lovely touch. The food was delicious and clearly made with care. We were especially happy with Nizam, the driver recommended by the hotel. He was reliable, knowledgeable, and made us feel completely safe while showing us all the important places in Jaipur. Highly recommended for first-time visitors. Overall, The Art Ghar is a beautiful property with excellent staff. With more attentive and guest-focused management, the experience would be exceptional.

However, our experience with the management representative was less positive. There was an unresolved billing mistake regarding a dinner order, and she appeared unfamiliar with key booking details as well as the hotel’s own foundation, which is prominently featured on social media (and also one of the reasons we booked this hotel in the first place). Her lack of clarity and warmth detracted from the otherwise excellent service provided by the rest of the team.

An oasis of calm in a chaotic city

The property is beautifully presented giving a very calm and welcoming vibe. The room was comfortable, clean and thoughtfully decorated. Food was very good.

My room was on the ground floor next to the reception and small dining area. By 7am there was enough noise to wake me up and would have preferred not to be disturbed.

Absolutely wonderful and quaint! The place is done up very tastefully and artistically. They have tried their best to be mindful with resources where possible. The food was flavourful and well presented. The staff was very polite and helpful!

Lovely and quiet oasis in busy Jaipur

I booked this hotel for the day as my flight was at 3 am the following morning. What a lovely oasis in the middle of busy Jaipur. The food was amazing, the 3 women that greeted us were kind and very welcoming and so were their lovely dogs. The room was clean, the bed was comfy and the shower was also great.

Nothing short of amazing!

The property was absolutely gorgeous! such a lovely quaint place located on a pretty quiet street. The rooms were exceptionally clean, really nicely done up and had such a homely feeling. The staff were so so helpful and made the experience of staying here even better! Special shoutout to Unsa who truly made this stay phenomenal!!!! Definitely will be coming back here :)

Worst experience in Jaipur till date

Only the Staff was good

On entry you will welcomed by Dogs who will bark at you ,then as mentioned there is booking car parking but there is no car parking you have to park your car on road which doesn't even have a CCTV camera ,there would be 5 to 6 rooms in property all rooms have different tariff even costlier than a five star ,There is no chair no table in the room . Food is expensive than a five star hotel ,In booking it has been shown that you have tea maker in your room but it is actually a tea maker in common area for all guests . Over all I suggest please visit a property before you include in Booking.com .Food is so costly that a half glass of milk will cost you 300Rs .

The place was really creative and clean. The staff were nice

The property had dogs. I was super uncomfortable and anxious. I wish they mentioned because it was a no brainer. The room was too too small. Not ideal for people on vacation with luggages. The room had no kettle for tea and guests had to go to cafe all times for tea and coffee. There no hook to hang clothes in the room for air dry. Lastly the staff couldn't check out us out. The manager had to come for bills and dues.

Pleasant stay in converted house.

Fresh fruit available and the oats were very tasty. good coffee served in french press. clean rooms with pleasant bath products. clean linen although pillows and bed were a little hard.

no tea or coffee facilities in the bedroom - apparently a previous guest spilt coffee on the bed-so they do not allow any drinking or eating in the room. I would appreciate this policy to be reviewed- it would make the choice of another property being preferred. The dinner menu could be changed or a bigger choice available.

Beautiful art-y hotel in Jaipur

The hotel is very clean and the rooms look really great and aesthetic. There was even a yoga mat and had great soaps. The breakfast is delicious and offers a variety of options. Also try the teas and food in the restaurant. Location is good and quiet.

There weren’t any workshops during my stay so check that up front if you’re interested. The service is good, but could be more relaxed on some points. Extra services (e.g. airport pick-ups) were overpriced
