This place is gonna be a new frequent for my wife and i. i have never had better customer service. They are so helpful and kind. They helped us switch rooms when the construction was loud in our other one, provides us a complimentary dinner too. for my birthday they decorated our room and came and sang to me personally! Besides that, the rooms are gorgeous, clean and comfortable. The location is convenient for travel but not too in the center to avoid noise. 15/10

Not worth the price at all

Well if I have to say one good thing about the property it has to be the front desk staff. They tried their best to make us feel comfortable and they were very warm and welcoming.

Property is not family friendly, hotel is designed for couples only. No amenities in the hotel and the food taste is below average.

Great property and amazing staff

It’s a great place overall, we got a good last minute deal from booking.com, the staff is very cooperative and the villa is very high-tech, has Alexa enables lights in the room, smart TV, microwave etc. Amazing breakfast choices and we also got 20 mins complimentary massage.

Could be my personal choice but if the toiled has a door and not a see through curtain, that would have been great and amenities like dental kits, body lotion were missing. Also the location a slightly far from main seminyak (10 mins drive)

The staff grooming was fantastic — everyone looked professional and well-presented. On top of that, the team was incredibly friendly, polite, and always ready to assist with a smile. Their warm hospitality truly made my stay enjoyable. The room was clean, comfortable, and perfectly maintained. I really appreciated the attention to detail and the fresh, neat setup every day. The food served at the hotel was nice with good variety and taste — definitely worth trying! One of the best parts was the complimentary shuttle service, which made traveling around super convenient and stress-free. Overall, a very pleasant stay with great value for money. A relaxing oasis escape in the heart of busy Seminyak

The staff were very friendly and always helpful, we loved the private pool and floating breakfast, good central location. We loved the Alexa to play music though too.

I liked that it was located in a strategic location between Canggu and Seminyak making it easier to commute towards both directions.

Just loud toad or gecko sounds at night and maybe some cleaning staff wakes up early so there were some sound on the roof. I saw on the last day that they were cleaning the pool. So possibly cleaning the pool early morning.

Perfect Bali getaway

We stayed at Monolocale Resort & Spa for 10 nights and it was absolutely incredible. Our villa came with its own private pool, which made the experience feel extra special and relaxing. Most nights we ordered directly from the restaurant to our room—the food was always fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. The spa services were another highlight. We tried several treatments during our stay, including the volcano mud massage, and every one of them left us feeling completely refreshed and rejuvenated. What really stood out, though, was the staff. From the moment we arrived, they remembered our names and went above and beyond to make sure we felt comfortable and taken care of. Their warmth and attentiveness made the whole stay feel very personal and welcoming. Overall, Monolocale exceeded our expectations in every way. Between the luxury of having our own pool, the convenience of in-room dining, the world-class spa treatments, and the outstanding staff, it was the perfect Bali getaway. Highly recommend!

Perfection

Monolocale spa and resort was beautiful. We stayed in a room with a private pool and it was perfect. The hospitality offered by staff was 10/10, no notes. We had the floating breakfast which was awesome, and the breakfast was generous and delicious. Highly recommend and we will definitely be returning!

I want to thank all the staff here without exception and special thanks to the reception staff. I have never seen anything like them in terms of warm welcome, sincere smiles, and VVIP service. Very nice cooperation, and their only concern is that you spend a happy time with them. I have never seen anyone like them, and I do not expect to find anyone like them. I thank everyone who did this great work, and I hope that everyone will be like them.

Extremely Disappointing Experience Far Below 5-Star Standards

Staff professionalism

Our stay at the villa was deeply unsatisfactory and far from what one would expect from a 5-star property. The cleanliness was shockingly poor, the villa had an unpleasant odor and was infested with insects including ants, cockroaches, mosquitoes, flies, and a lot of lizards. We were covered in mosquito bites throughout our stay. The bathroom emitted an unbearable smell reminiscent of an animal enclosure, and the floors appeared old and neglected, as if they hadn’t been properly cleaned in a long time. The bed was broken, adding to the discomfort. The private pool was also in unacceptable condition dirty, filled with leaves and insects. Worse, despite being advertised as “private,” we noticed workers observing the area from a nearby building, which completely compromised our privacy. Basic amenities were lacking, such as a water hose (shattaf) in the WC. Housekeeping services were minimal at best, they only made the bed without any actual cleaning. Overall, the experience was far from luxurious and certainly not worth the price. This property is highly overrated and does not meet the expectations of a 5-star standard.

Clean, friendly and well located villa

Our villa was great, felt safe and secure was well cleaned everyday and always had a cute towel animal for our night time turndown. Bathroom was clean, could’ve done with more lighting and the waterfall shower head wasn’t great it had random leaks which were shooting all over the shower. Pool was great, decent size only thing we couldn’t find was the jets switch so was only turned on once our room was cleaned. Breakfast was very yum only thing I would change would be the coffee but it’s not a big deal.

The waterfall shower head had a leak which was shooting randomly in the shower, not really a big deal but just a little annoying. Bathroom could’ve done with some more lighting was fairly dark when trying to get ready. Breakfast was great but the only option for coffee was black coffee, would’ve liked to see a coffee machine.

Sitting in a pool, watching the jungle.

The setting surrounded by jungle was amazing, as was swimming in the pool in the morning and around sunset!

Nothing too much to walk to, but ultimately that is why it was such a quiet and peaceful setting and we just ended up taking a 5-10 min drive if we needed to go out.

Great stay at the Royal Villa

The royal villa is amazing and as per photos, nice large pool and outdoor area. Had a good sleep with a good bed, and the room is dark with curtains. Staff is very friendly and helpful. There is a Smart speaker ‘Alexa’ in the room. Food at the restaurant is ok. There is also a very nice restaurant (St Jacques) next to the property.

The hot water system needs some adjustments (I could not take a shower and wash my (long) hair at the same time without running out of hot water).

The room was okay but nothing close the stars it claims.

The bathroom had an unbearable stink. Breakfast was a la carte and tasteless. Very few vegetarian options.
