Disappointed. The hotel was advertised for $800+ with massive discount but thats a scam literally.

Great location, but very noisy at night

The rooms were great, staff were exceptional. Location is good, close to restaurants, pubs, shops and beach.

The pool area needs a refurb. There is a nightclub across the road, and the music starts at about 9.00 pm and doesn't stop until 6.00 am. If you are into the clubbing scene, then this is your hotel; however, if you want to relax/sleep at night, then I would look for other accommodation. We had planned to stay 10 nights, but we only lasted 5. When we discussed the noise with the management, they gave us a full refund for the remaining nights

Missing the finer details and lack of communication.

Photos of the 2 bedroom penthouse was as it to be found. Lovely spacious apartment. However, NOT one window nor balcony door had any forms of locks. The pool area is under construction and not available for use. Our apartment lack some of the basics . Like normal glasses to drink from, dish washing liquid and sponge to clean up after yourself which was rectified by the manager. The noise/ low base from other roof top bar and venues kept us awake constantly. Unfortunately they should have communicated the pool not in service prior to our arrival, as I would have cancelled and found else where you can relax without constant construction noise.

No locks on doors or windows. Second bathroom is only a bath and not a shower. No communication regarding the pool not available to use. The couch needs a good clean.

Rooms were still nice

Property is using its original photos. Pool area, gym and hotel are all run down. No one would even use the pool area as the whole rooftop looks like it’s been run down for a long time. Place isn’t sound proof enough. Can hear shi shi all through the night with music. Then a pump was in error that was beeping constantly (could hear through whole hotel) the staff wasn’t doing anything about it I pretty much made them find the noise so we could stop it.

Massive rip off, nothing like the photos

The location

ITS TOTALLY RUN DOWN. This hotel is the epitome of a management team cutting every corner possible to max out profits, the room was badly fitted and you could tell it was all help together (sometimes literally) by sticky tape and glue, it was a small room but describe itself as 'suites' it is nothing nothing like that, its a small boring, poorly up kept room. There was grime in every corner of the bathroom, ants in the bed, lights falling out of sockets.

Great location, very central.

The shower in my initial room was flooding but thankfully I was moved another room which did not have that issue. Unfortunately I was quite ill during my stay (not due to the hotel), and when I dialled the reception to call for a doctor (it specifically mentions in their in-room booklet that they can arrange for a doctor), I was told he would check with his manager and would let me know. 2.5 hours later, I still hadn't heard back and had to call for an external doctor on my own, who promptly came.

Very good

The only downside is that roof top and pool facilities were closed at the time of visit due to renovation. But the location is superb, very close to restaurants, beach clubs and the street just never sleeps. Staff were friendly and we felt safe.

Bad

Location is perfect

The room was promoted as "luxurious," but there was nothing luxurious about it. The furniture was worn out (torn), and the room had a horrible smell (as it turns out the hotel allows smoking inside (which we were not made aware of). Not all amenities such as showers, toilets, and aircons were working properly. The rooftop pool was not reopened on the 31st as promised and was still closed when we checked out. No one could tell us if and when it would reopen. The penthouse rooms are also on the same floor as their rooftop bar, so if they happen to host a party during your stay, be prepared for a lot of noise, people going up and down the elevator, and drunk people outside your door until early hours of the morning.

Fantastic every time!

I have stayed here on 4 different occasions... It is a great hotel with a fabulous restaurant inside. The beds are big and very comfy... lighting, showers, ambiance are great. Highly recommend!

I was disappointed that the rooftop pool in the pics was closed and no longer available (covered with more deckspace) ... The staff told me they had an agreement with Mrs. Soppy and I could get in free with the room key-card, but I didn't want to make a trip. Also no gym... Hopefully they can get a few pieces and make one soon... But definitely not a deal breaker.

Nice staff, amazing shower, big bed. Room was quite spacious.

I generally found the room, furniture and furnishings dated, and in places like the counter top and bathroom floor tiles, appearing dirty and old. Not terrible for the price point but I think I could have got something fresher for same price. Very loud music nearby until 4am.

The hotel looks abandoned

The only 2 good things were the location and the security guy.

The hotel looks abandoned. Rooms are smelly and dark. Bedhseets with stains or holes. Bathroom dirty with lime in the shower. We used the glasses the first night for soup and they did not change them in 3 days. We had to take toilet paper from their trolley because again the staff was coming just to make the bed and clean a bit the surfaces but they did not care to see that we had no toilet paper. Wifi was working so-so. In 4 days calling reception we never managed to get anyone to pickup the phone, they were never there basically. The rooftop pool was closed for reformation but they never informed us. They dont care to switch on the hotel lights during the day so it looks like you are entering a cave. In summary, a lot of work to be done there, one of the most disappointing hotels I've ever been.
