Very central but on a quiet street near the minster.Comfortable and great value for money.Has a sitting out area which is great.Been to this house before so know the layout.Lots of stairs so not for people who struggle with stairs.Would definitely recommend for location and value for money.
Happy with most things about house.Only negative thing is could do with new chair as cushion kept sliding of.

We shopped and made breakfasts, but ate out every night. It would have been very nice to have had milk already available, so a cuppa could have been enjoyed, especially as a teapot was available.
Stairs down to the kitchen, but hey ho , it is an old house ,with much character. As the youngest (75) member of the group, even my knees ached at the end of the week, which were not helped by climbing Cliffords Tower.

Fantastic location just behind York Minster and a beautiful home. Very spacious, clean, and comfortable.
Worth noting that the kitchen is in the basement so guests need to be comfortable going up and down stairs quite a lot.
