Lovely welcome, fab location, will stay here again.

Location was great, so easy to park and Derry city was easy to walk too. Great having a pub downstairs, so friendly and did a great pint of Guinness.

Fantastic weekend with friends in Derry

A perfect location for our stay. The apartment is above The Glen Bar, which is a welcoming and friendly pub with great staff. A good selection of takeaway food establishments nearby on Clooney Terrace. Very easy to walk over to the city centre from the apartment. A comfortable and spacious apartment with everything that you could need. We really enjoyed staying there.

We were a party of three, having originally booked for two people. I tried to contact the mobile number given on your message but repeatedly was told that this was an invalid number. A number that I found for the bar on Google was also incorrect. I eventually found a number but it went to answerphone, so I left a message. I also sent an email. On being greeted at the apartment on arrival on the Thursday evening we were told that the answerphone message and email had not been seen, but it was noted that we were a party of three. Nothing further was said until the Sunday lunchtime when I was told that there would be an extra charge of £35 per night for the additional guest (£140 in total). I eventually agreed to pay a total of £100. On arriving back home I found another review of the apartment where the person staying said that they had originally booked for three guest but were a party of five and that the property owner did not charge them for the extra two guests. I cannot see that the size of my party made any difference to the costs incurred by the owner. In effect we were charge £100 for the supply of an extra towel. I am also unhappy that this policy has been applied inconsistently and I feel as if I have been had over. I am supplying this review in order to make future guests aware of this policy and to deal with this before arrival.

Ambience

Ir had an old comb-boiler which was leaking fumes and the carbon monoxide detector was inoperable. In short, as an ex-Fire Officer, it was a death trap.

We had a fantastic time in a beautiful city.

Despite being across the river, the location was actually just a few minutes from the city centre. The apartment had everything we needed - it was a home from home.

We had no concerns at all.
