A truly unforgettable stay combining breathtaking surroundings and extraordinary hospitality

The apartment is part of a beautiful patrician villa set within an immaculate garden right on the shore of Lake Como. The surroundings are simply stunning, with breathtaking lake views and a serene atmosphere. Guests can enjoy a private, well-maintained swimming pool as well as a private beach directly on the lake, making it the perfect place to relax and unwind. The property feels very safe and secure, as the villa is located behind a closed gate, and convenient on-site parking is included. Its location is ideal—just a 5-minute walk to the ferry terminal, where you can easily reach other charming towns around Lake Como, and only a pleasant 20-minute walk to Bellagio itself. A special mention must go to Ida, the wonderful host who welcomed us so warmly. She was incredibly kind, always available, and provided us with valuable information, directions, and tips to make the most of our stay. Ida’s attentive care throughout our visit made us feel truly looked after and added an extra touch of extraordinary service to an already exceptional experience.

There was absolutely nothing we did not like—everything about our stay was perfect from start to finish.

Excellent location & apartment on the shores of Lake Como.

Excellent location right on the shores of Lake Como in San Giovanni. Close to a coffee shop/bar and good restaurants. Very easy to use coin/token laundry 2 mins away. Convenient ferries and not far from Bellagio. Well apportioned apartment, with a comfortable bed. Ida, the host was only a pleasure to deal with. Overall a wonderful stay.

Lakeside villa living in San Giovanni

A great opportunity to imagine luxury lakeside living in this apartment in this grand villa. Small and cosy but really well appointed and clever use of space. Comfy bed. Beautiful gardens and privacy with lake view across to Tremezzo. San Giovanni is a fabulous place to stay and in my opinion a better non touristy option to Bellagio centre. Beautiful church and paddle, boat and SUP hire nearby. Ida our host was a charming and very helpful host. A lovely 1 mile walk into Bellagio through Villa Melzi gardens during the day and in the promenade.

Wonderful little apartment. Very functional and located on gorgeous grounds. So peaceful and spectacular! We truly loved our stay :) Ida was very helpful and had organised our stay perfectly. Thank you

We would certainly stay here again, enjoyed the quiet ambiance and wonderful views.

Quiet, comfortable apartment, in beautiful villa and gardens on the lake foreshore. Parking onsite and very secure. Walk to Bellagio and a minutes stroll to the ferry pier. Also a bonus bar is en route which was excellent for end of day spritzes!

Relaxing, beautiful, amazing.

Amazing location right next to the lake and with direct access from the garden. The garden was fantastic and really nice to spend some time in. The pool was large and really nice to relax in and around. The host was great and communication through whattsapp is really easy. Boat tours launch from nearby that take you in to all of the local larger towns.

Wifi is slow. An alternative was provided, but not much better. Only handwash in the bathroom, some other toileteries would be nice for the price level. For some reason the plugs are different sizes so couldnt use my adapter in all sockets?

We expected a lot of the apartment and were left very disappointed.

The quiet location views and proximity re the lake and the complex had it’s own pool

The whole place is more a studio than a 1 bed apartment and it needs a redecoration, it is ok but for the cost unfortunately it is pretty poor. Tiny Dishwasher didn’t take the plates or bowls and was useless. Fridge took 2 days to freeze some ice cubes. WIFI very intermittent. Table and chairs were child sized and poor quality. Hair dryer poor.

Beautiful surrounds. Locked perimeter gate was good for privacy and only those staying in Villa can get in.

If I could wave a magic wand it would be to have a view of the lake from inside but sitting in the terrace you can see the lake and mountains.

Good location in a small village next to Bellagio (20min walk, bus connection). Nice apartment with beautiful garden and pool & access to lake. Host Ida was super helpful!

San Giovanni pier is just next to the apartment but it was closed.

Beautiful apartment in a Perfect location

The apartment was in a stunning location on lake como in a pretty village just outside Bellagio. Ida met us at the property and took us on a quick tour of the property and always checked in to see if we were ok. Thanks Ida you were fab! Everything inside the apartment was clean and to a good standard and made for a perfect holiday. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this place to anyone wanting a peaceful getaway within walking distance of Bellagio surrounded by beautiful gardens and views.

magical holiday in glorious setting.

The setting is utterly magical on the banks of Lake Como. There is a large swimming pool that was well maintained and not too busy. There is a beach area and you can swim in the lake. The gardens are beautiful and well maintained. The beautiful town of Bellagio is a five minute drive away. The apartment is on the ground floor and has a private terrace overlooking the lake. Ida was very helpful.

The apartment is very small - probably more suited to a couple than a family.

The apartment has everything you need. The Garden of the Villa is very big and beatiful and it has a private sea access. We had our own breakfast at the private terrace. Ida, the host, helped us with every information we needed.
