Forest side cottage

The cottage was lovely, spacious and quiet. We were given good directions and it was in a great location for accessing central Nottingham. The cottage was nice and clean, and the showers were lovely and hot.

The kitchen could have done with a few more utensils.

This isn't the first time I have stayed here I have used this property several times in the past for both business and leisure I really enjoy the location The set up of the property and modern/homely look and feel the property has As crazy as it sounds but the property is always clean and I have stayed in some places where you can still visibly see mess left by previous guests I think that the level of communication from the host is top tier, friendly and welcoming

I have nothing negative to say, I will be back

This property is for only 4 people to stay in,not 6 as advertised.The so called sofa bed is 4ft,hardly for 1 person & impossible to even sit comfortably on,let alone sleeping

Anyone in there correct senses will never book this property.Please take this from my personal experience of 2 nights in this property. 1)There is no light whatsoever in the Alley way,next to cemetary and also on entrance of the house.The sign post 'Five Acres'is not clear at all.Anyone travelling after dark will go round and round in circles.The route indications later provided via app are still not clear. 2)There is no corridor light working.Entering the house with luggage is huge struggle after dark. 3)The property is only for 4 people,not 6.The sofa bed is unbearable to even sit on,let alone sleeping. 4)From Pillows to Duvet to whole beddings,everything is torn,worn out & does not provide a standard night sleep. 5)Do not trust the photos,there is no straight access to Garden,one has to fully walk up the ramp of entrance,take a left turn & walk through a whole alley way reach garden.There is no outdoor furniture during winter as shown in images.Hideous conditions around the house with muddy puddles,uneven floor in quite a few places inside the house too.And I was told by owner not to go outside in garden,as it is dangerous. 6)If someone is looking for a good shower after or before a tiring day-it is impossible.Both Shower heads need changing & water booster required badly.there is no water pressure whatsoever in both walk-in showers. 7)Both Mattresses of 2 single beds need changing instantly,as springs are easily fell when lied down. 8)Every cottage always has spare beddings like Duvet,Pillows etc.This did not have any.The Duvet provided to use on sofa bed was fully torn,folded inside a single duvet cover. 9)Towels provided were old & unclean. 10)Beddings had stains on them. 11)WiFi signal only works after every 1.5-2mins.There is no constant signal. 12)The owner of the property is extremely Disappointing,not co-operative at all.When i called to ask about extremely uncomfortable sofabed,she denied helping or arranging for anything.

We were very disappointed with this property. On arrival the carpets were still wet from being washed that day, leaving the whole house damp. There was a strong foul smell throughout, especially in the bathrooms, and the bedding smelt of mould. The property had no fire alarm at all, uneven floors and broken mats that were a trip hazard, and the heating did not work despite being advertised. Basic necessities such as hand soap, washing-up liquid and toilet paper were not provided. The walls were stained, and the property was overall poorly maintained. Several features were falsely advertised – there were no hammocks, no usable firepit (and no information given that we would have to supply our own wood), and no working fireplace. We were travelling with two children. If it had been possible to move, we would have left immediately, but we had no choice but to stay the duration. The conditions were uncomfortable, unsafe, and not as described. I would not recommend this property to anyone until serious improvements are made to cleanliness, safety, and honesty in advertising.

I have stayed here a few times now and I think that this property is perfect for when you want to get away and experience a bit of peace I liked the surroundings (two acres of my land to myself) I like the private drive path to the property and the overall layout inside

The garden was unkempt and the furniture was mismatched and linens poor quality. It seemed a little tired.
