I liked that the apartment was walking distance from the city centre. The beds were comfortable and kitchen clean and tidy and had all that we needed.
It was a tricky place to find and get to as Raleigh street had a block to cars part way up which made it awkward to get to. It was difficult to get in at first due to obtaining the key and security codes and the number of security people around made it feel like you were breaking into a prison! The apartment was ok but a bit scruffy in places, like the bathroom and the lounge curtains.

oven didn’t work, bathroom needs renovating - shower floods the floor, kitchen equipment needs updating and adding to - pots and pans were old and need replacing

Issues
1. On arrival the building entry code did not work (luckily a resident let us in), after numerous calls & emails where the person we spoke to could not grasp the fact that we had no 'fob', nor had we been given any information on where to get the door entry fob. We had to stay in the apartment that night as we would have been locked out.
Next day we got intouch again to ask what was happening? We eventually got told to go to a launderettes across the street to locate a key safe to get the fob to let us into the building to allow us to come and go from the building.
2. No hot water, another message was sent and we were sent instructions on how to get the boiler pressure working, there was a lock on the cupboard so we had to get another code to get in and figure out the hot water system !
3. The flat is in a very poor state of decor, esp the bathroom, the shower screen and area around the floor was rotten and mouldy. There is no seal where the screen meets the bath, so the mat was soaked each time we showered.
4. No hooks to hang robes, no shelves to keep toiletries etc.
5. Bedside lamps were no use for reading, I took the shade off to be able to see.
6. The smell of whaky backy was strong all the time day and night on the landing and in the flat.
7. The kitchen was all miss matched cutlery, plates etc. There was not a full set of anything!
This could be a great flat if it had a bit of TLC.
