Nice apartment in terms of presentation, also very clean.

I paid for an apartment with 5 beds and the apartment I got only had 3 so was unsuitable for the 4 guests which I had notified them were coming when booking. Upon entering the apartment at 3pm I notified them that it wasnt fit for purpose and they said they would get back to me. Asked them for an update at 10pm, again said they would get back to me and didn't. No further communication from them, and have since ignored my messages on WhatsApp. No apology, no partial refund, no human interaction at all just generic AI messages promising that they will review the situation. An embarrassingly poor level of service, once they have your money they clearly don't care.

Brilliant. Perfect base for visiting family nearby and discovering Nottingham

Property was warm, clean and spacious. Bed comfy. Kitchen was modern and clean. Bathroom was too, with a dual shower over a full length bath. Towels provided. Heated towel rail. TV with different streaming services. Seating and kitchen area was away from the road and very peaceful

Would have been nice to have a couple of armchairs as well as the sofa (which could have done with a bit of a clean). Very little crockery. Blind in the bedroom did not come all the way down - there was a gap of about an inch.

Excellent stay - would recommend

The property is beautifully decorated—honestly, the photos don’t do it justice. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything I needed, the bed was very comfortable, and the TV had a great selection of channels and programmes. The location is excellent, with some really lovely pubs nearby. I enjoyed my stay so much that I ended up extending it. Would definitely stay again!

Dirty and very disappointing

Good Location

We are very disappointed with the standard of accommodation which has been provided. We have been sold this property as a “luxury” apartment. •Dirty stained carpets through-out •stained mattresses •broken furniture & chest of draws •insufficient cutlery and glasses (only 2 x knifes/ 1 x wine glass) •extractor fans hanging off the ceiling •black curly hairs found in mugs / bowls / bathroom and bedding •extremely poor WiFi connection (meaning we were unable to watch the TV on our return to the apartment. We paid £267 for one night, this is not acceptable for the standard we received Tried to raise a complaint and follow up on several occasions to be ignored and receive no follow up

Okay for a night stay, would not return.

The kitchen was lovely, the beds were extremely comfortable, easy to access the apartment (not disability friendly), very spacious.

There was an air freshener plugged into the wall and turned on, whilst it was a nice smell, we had a guest with asthma who had an asthma attack due to the air freshener. Minimal blankets with a too-small sheet on the sofa bed meaning one guest was cold the entire night. There are homeless living near the apartment, near the Tescos and NCP car park which made us three women feel a little unsafe. The kitchen facilities were good, very little bathroom facilities (hand soap, no shower facilities or hand towel). The “living room” had the sofa bed already down, there was no additional seating apart from a wicker seat which was so uncomfortable. The whole apartment was cold and the heaters did not work well.

Appartment not as advertised and not suitable for 4 adults to fit comfortably.

The only positive was that it was in walking distance from the town center

The apartment we were given was not the one we booked, we booked a unit with 5 beds, this had 3. When we contacted the hosts they said it was a typo in the description, however non of the photos matched what we had and we wouldn't have booked this set up had we known. We weren't given enough bedding or towels for all guests, we had to message the host and they did send some over. The apartment was at the top of the building, so for those with mobility issues they would struggle, no where in the listing does it state no lift. The carpets and bedding were badly stained, the sofa bed was solid, stained and very uncomfortable. There was a half an inch gap between the window and the wall in the kitchen which let cold air in. The smart TV didn't work, we could only get 2 channels. The second night we were there we had a man knocking at the door saying he stayed last week and could he come in. The building is supposed to be secure but he managed to get in and make his way up to our apartment. We felt very unsafe staying there.

Location and cycle locks situated close by was perfect. Apartment looked tired.

Tea and coffee sachets provided with sugar but no milk but it’s a good start. Location is the best for sure. Missing items utensils and bedsheets etc was resolved next day. My husband found the bed comfortable . Cycle locks situated close by was useful.

Weekend and evenings when there were other guests I gather late at night it was noisy. The door only had one lock - additional lock would be great. There were marks on curtain shades, floors and doors that were unclean. Bedsheets looked tired. Toilet seat could do with repair. Kitchen fits two so no room for the third person to eat. When you make a booking you are asked to provide photo and ID which never in my booking com life or Airbnb I ever had to do and send separately to them. Made me stressed before travelling and further stressed when I arrived and no extra utensils or beddings for third person as we paid for 3 but they did resolve the next day for bedsheets. Check out 10am which is rather early for a Sunday so paid £35 in advance for check out at noon but was sent messages to leave at 10am as their customer service is poor and not linked together as one person confirms Noon and the other confirms 10am and ignored the £35 advance payment so further stressed towards end of stay too.

Awful

Horrible stay – completely misleading! In my opinion, the apartment was nothing like the photos: it was dirty, the bed was disgusting and unfit for sleeping, and the bedroom had no outside window (which I needed for health reasons). After a 7-hour flight, the staff told me to just sleep on the dirty bed and wait until the next day for it to be cleaned — unbelievably unprofessional. Despite this, they refused to refund the £295, saying the booking was non-refundable. I had no choice but to borrow money to book a hotel instead. From my experience, this place was misleading, unprofessional, and unlivable — I strongly advise others to avoid it.

Nothing, it was dirty, broken furniture, dirty kitchen. Lights not working. No blinds/curtains in bedrooms. Black mould everywhere in bathroom. Only 1 small round mirror in the bathroom. No clothes storage at all in wither bedrooms.

Everything. The apartment smelt of weed. The communal hallways of urine and marajuarna. The apt was dirty. The kitchen was dirty. The carpets heavily stained. The bathroom had block mould everywhere. Broken furniture. No clothes storage in any bedrooms . also the property management lied to us about the facilities available. They moved our booking from another unit to this one stating all beda the same and they weren’t. They left us no opportunity to find alternative accommodation. They lied and said our original booking had a leak, it sisnt they had let it on a a month let via airbnb which i wouldnt of minded if they had been honest! But they lied so many times as they are greedy. They where meant to give us £100 back when we checked out. They didnt until i made a complaint

Great location, good price, the apartment was a good size and had decent enough facilities like TV, Bed, shower and seperate lounge and bedroom.

Everything was broken, The sofa bed didn't extend so I couldn't use it. The kitchen hob was broken so I couldn't cook breakfast. The kitchen lacked any form of cooking utilities only a ladle. The place smelled of smoke and everyone from the office opposite smoked outside the window. The TV and clothes rail were hanging off the wall.

Really disappointing, the word Luxury in the description is insulting.

The location was very central.

The carpets were very stained. The light switches didn't work properly (if you turned on the bathroom light, it turned off the bedroom lights. There were stains on the sofabed, and some rubbish left around it. There were no blinds in the whole apartment, so sleeping was difficult. The ventilation was limited (top floor so windows would only open a few millimetres), so the apartment was very hot. Fans were provided, but just moved the hot air around. The shower over the bath had to be held by hand as it wasn't fitted to point downwards. We had booked this to stay in for my daughter's university graduation, and she was so upset by it that she moved to a hotel for the night, as it would have ruined what should have been a special day.

1-Star Review – A Property Left to Rot Advertised as clean and modern—what I actually stayed in was a vandalised, poorly maintained flat that looked like it hadn’t seen a lick of care in years. The shower cord was in a sorry state—cheap to replace, yet ignored. Shoe marks on the walls, cracked tiles, chipped paint, and general neglect. This isn’t “wear and tear”—it’s abandonment. A fault in the fire alarm system left it ringing uncontrollably for eight hours straight, spilling out onto the street. I was told via message this had happened before, yet nothing has been done to prevent it. During this time, every guest was left exposed without working safety features. No secure feeling, no peace of mind—it was impossible to relax or settle. No emergency contact. No on-site support. Just templated, robotic messages from the host. Why no deposit? Why no basic local handyman or safety protocol? Paintwork is cheap, and so is effort. And yet, they still took a £50 cleaning fee—in a place that felt like the aftermath of a party, not a professional rental. After raising concerns, I was ignored. No apology. No gesture. Just indifference. I’ve submitted a formal complaint to Booking.com with full evidence. This isn’t a short-stay apartment—it’s a ghost host’s cash grab. Avoid.

Not as pleasant an experience as you’d expect from the entry

Nicely appointed. Good location Kitchen nice with v small table

The only fresh air comes in from the living room window. That is the only window in the whole suite. There was no sheet provided for the sofa bed. Messages were the only way to communicate and they were answered by an ai. TV remote didn’t work. Lack of fresh air became oppressive. There were two fans which helped but we had to keep all doors and the one window open all night

Pretty central location

Stifling hot with inadequate fan, the flat was not as clean as it should have been, the shower didn't work, the wifi was very poor and a house party until 4am next door. Owner/management dealt with complaint very badly.

Great little apartment

Loved the location, apartment felt really secure, layout of apartment was good, felt very roomy

No blinds on the window in the small bedroom was a problem. Window was directly above the bed, this meant, unfortunately, my daughter and son in law were awake very early (4am) due to light streaming down on them. Couldn't shut the window, in this bedroom, so they were pleased it didn't rain, or they would have got wet. Having said this, there might have been a way to close the window, if we had asked the owners

Disappointing

We stayed in Apartment Two. Avoid at all costs. 1508 deal with you through WhatsApp and ask for a photo of a valid ID, which was weird. Upon arrival to the property we were given a code to the lock box, although there are a couple labelled with the number 2. Code didn’t work. In one of their texts they did provide a property guide for apartment seven, which provide the code to their lock box, not very secure for the people staying in there. I sent a message to 1508 and they provided us with another code which worked. Inside the apartment was very disappointing. It smelled of stale cigarettes. The carpet in the bedroom was stained all over, walls through the accom were marked with god knows what but some marks were clearly boot marks. There was broken floor tiles in the bathroom and clear signs of damp. Grotty is how I would describe this apartment. A fan was in the lounge area, the top of which could be completely removed and the earth pin from the plug had broken off inside the socket, health and safety concern and dangerous. Snapped doorframes, chip cooker tops and tea stains on doorframes, I sent pictures through WhatsApp to 1508 and they said they’d pass this onto their cleaning team! The whole apartment needs redecorating not just cleaning. Particularly disappointed as this was booked for our wedding anniversary, we were sad to go back to this apartment after of celebratory meal. Avoid this apartment if you can.

The apartment was actually nice and clean and it was what we were looking for.

All the apartments were broken in to on our one night stay. Various items stolen through all apartments. We didn’t occupy them all but spoke to other the other guests. Footage was seen via ring doorbell cams with youths with keys entering all apartments.

Lovely smart apartment, really well located. Very helpful communication in the lead up and and during the stay.

BURGLED. NOT SAFE

IMPORTANT. Whilst staying at the property we were burgled. CCTV shows that there are children with a master key to the apartment. They stole our car keys and other valuables. We let the property know and informed the police. The property then had the place cleaned BEFORE forensics could arrive. They also then let the place out the night after we had left. Meaning they are renting this apartment out knowing it isn’t secure. There is an open skylight that couldn’t be closed in a bedroom - we let them know it was open and again no effort to close. UNLESS YOU WISH TO BE ROBBED. PLEASE AVOID.

Luxury !!!! The worst

Booked a double room because we were staying away with my daughter. On arrival the place was absolutely disgusting PLEASE see the photos attached, we were asked to move to another room, this we found out was a single bedroom with sofa bed with an interjoining window to the bedroom with no curtain, not what you'd call adequate and as many others have reviewed the smell of illegal drugs was throughout both rooms, again totally unacceptable. The spoke to the management company directly informed them we would not be staying and a refund including the £35 separate late checkout fee would be expected. A month later not a single penny has been returned from them, this is the worst experience we have ever had with booking.com. Booking.com themselves have been useless and the helpline people even directly lied on every contact, saying they would escalate but a month later they have as a gesture returned £12.50 of £160 wasted on this place. The fact that booking.com has no power to do anything or unwilling to, makes you question why book through them in the first place . PLEASE be warned this luxury apartment is far from that.

Looks can be deceiving….

Looks are deceiving unfortunately, advertised as a 2 bed for 4 people but did not say that one bed was a really bad sofa bed! One chair was falling apart, stools were unstable, toilet seat broken and the shower felt like the floor was going to drop out. The front communal door did not lock properly and a few times we came back it was open. Wanted to love it but sadly not for us. Great location but that was all.
