The Luxe Haven Penthouse - Sleeps 4 Apartment Nottingham City Centre

It was wonderful and well-equipped with everything—such as a drying rack, hairdryer, dishwasher, and all other essentials—plus fast internet. It is located right in the heart of town; I highly recommend staying there.

The location is great, very convenient to the tram, the train station and central Nottingham. The apartment is also very well decorated and clean. The host was friendly and communicated well.

I hate to say anything negative as we had a lovely time, but the beds were very thin and uncomfortable. Any time I turned I would hit the platform underneath the mattress. Would highly suggest new mattresses or at least a quality topper. The apartment can also get very hot and there was only one fan for the whole apartment. Opening the balcony doors helps a bit, but then you also get the noise from the street. The host did try to get another fan, but seems they were sold out everywhere with the recent heat waves.

The place was clean and the location was great. The balcony was really useful as it was during a heatwave, so the apartment was really warm inside but it was nice to sit outside in the evening. The host, Lewis, was really helpful and responsive when we had trouble with the internet (unfortunately it wasn't working when we went), but he offered a discount and even posted back the charger I had left behind. The stairs weren't much of an issue, but they are narrow so that could be a challenge (we had a pram to cart up and down which wasn't a massive issue), but the foyer is basically non-existent so we had to open the door to the street to get sorted with bags, etc.

An aircon unit or fan would have been helpful as it was sweltering in the rooms, reaching 27° at one point. They did offer to get us one delivered the next day, but unfortunately we were out all day so it wouldn't have helped us or been in for the delivery. We had to buy more toilet roll as there were maybe a roll and a half provided, which were split between 4 nearly empty rolls. The kitchen had the bare basics, a few tea bags and a couple of coffee pods, but no milk or water in the fridge, which would have been nice.
