You will be happy you stayed here.

It was well thought out, comfortable bed, beautiful bathroom w a wonderful shower, in the center of town. The owner was so nice and spoke with us about biking and seeing the rest of Belgium. There was a very secure bike shed nearby. One of my top favorites.

phone charger missing

I left my phone charger at the room. I have contact the hotel right away but the said that they did not find the charger. how is posible that my telephone charge just disappear ? I am 100% sure that I left it in the room. after adding my review I start receiving messages from the hotel's owner. (i felt a bit of harassment) I feel not comfortable leaving this review but I guess that is the review for ? to shared my personal experience with this hotel. we are honest people and so it is my review

Worth a Go, Know This!

Hotel Caelus is centrally located in Tongeren. It is a small but very nice hotel. This provides for attentive service. Kathleen made our two day stay. She was informed, kind, friendly, and exceptionally joyous. On the morning of my wife and I's departure she asked us if she could cook breakfast for us. She didn't have to do that. Breakfast starts at 0830. We had to leave she prepared for us around 0800. That says alot for her character. They have the right person on the job. She checked us out in between taking care of others...without wait. Recommend Hotel Caelus only if Kathleen is on duty! Thank you for a good stay.

I would have rated it higher but the room we were in #2 had no closet. It was clean and nice. Just small. We were there just two days so we didn't have much with us. The impact was slight. The shower in that room was clean with good water pressure. The shower floor was exceptionally slippery and without any anti-slip strips. Just be careful. We had a good stay.

Location, size of room/bath

For us now issue with step stairs but for sure an issue for some travelers. Main bed very big/excellent but the sofa bed in the side room was very soft/not really an option to sleep for people with some back problems.

Excellent stay in a unique boutique hotel, friendly & warm hosts, they take care of their guests.

The breakfast is served in a Corona-proof way, with a wide variety of fresh food and beverages. Coffee, local apple juice, bacon & eggs served at the table. Very friendly hosts that care for their guests.

Really great value. We were welcomed as soon as we walked through the door. We were given tips about where to go by the owner- and the breakfast was amazing. Rooms were quiet and comfortable and the shower was perfect! Fantastic location, close to everything!

DIt hotel is een ware ontdekking in het centrum van Tongeren. Het hotel blijkt nog niet zo lang geleden een herenhuis te zijn geweest. Het is is subliem hoe de eigenaars dit hotel zo knus en gezellig hebben ingericht. Elke plek en optimaal en creatief benut. De naam Boutique Hotel meer dan waardig.

Perfect voor een weekendje weg...

Zeer mooi gebouw en goede locatie...geen nachtlawaai en verzorgd ontbijt ook mogelijkheid om nog iets te drinken op de kamer alsook de airco is een pluspunt

Veel lawaai in de badkamer als je het licht aansteekt...ventilatie waarschijnlijk...en wel jammer dat je voor een glas cava extra moet betalen bij het ontbijt dat toch al prijzig is...
