Highly recommend Maison Margriet for a leisurely visit to the area.

The location was on a main road, easy to find with parking available on site. The room was well appointed and comfortable. The hosts were very friendly and accomodating, willing to answer all of our questions, provide recommendations and tips for the area. Breakfast was wonderful - homemade items, local fare and special touches each morning. We were allowed access to the garden and use of the pool (though it wasn't warm enough for us yet). We visited Tongeren for the Sunday antique market. We were able to walk to town for sightseeing, dinner and the market; the approximately 10-minute walk was safe on a sidewalk and marked route. Tongeren was a wonderful town with lots to see, good restaurants. The antique market was expansive - expect to walk a lot and get there early!

We had a wonderful stay - no complaints! Just to manage expectations, the room did not have a television, but we didn't mind not having the distraction.

we enjoyed our stay except that we caught cold

cleanness , nice breakfast, polite owners

at night the heater was turned down and we got cold. We were told later that in Belgium, the heaters are shut down. They had to inform us and ask us that do we agree or we want the heater goes on over night on the cold nights

Excellent but a bit noisy

Hosts were both excellent and very friendly and informative on local points of interest. Accommodation was first class. Breakfast was great. Greeting with strawberry’s and Prosecco was a nice touch. Use of swimming pool was an added bonus. Thanks very much for being such pleasant hosts.

Room at front was very noisy due to road noise. Room very hot, unable to get any air circulation. Could do with a fan on hot periods

A Must Stay in Tongeren

Our reception was very warm and friendly. We were greeted with sparkling wine and cheese to help us relax and also a book for us to learn more about Tongeren. Since we were departing very early the next morning, Griet even made us sandwiches to take with us!

Een prima locatie aan de rand van de binnenstad van Tongeren. Lekker geslapen op prima bed en 's morgens een goed ontbijt bij deze vriendelijke gastheer en gastvrouw.

Mooie locatie dicht bij Maastricht. Goed ontvangst en heel gastvrij. Mooie kamer met een eigen grote douche ruimte. Een goed en uitgebreid ontbijt. Zeker een aanrader.

Bezoek aan Tongeren

Het warme welkom door gastvrouw Griet was zeer aangenaam. Een glaasje cava op terras met de avondzon was mooi meegenomen. Op wandelafstand van het centrum is een troef. Ontbijt was zeer verzorgd en lekker.

We hebben Tongeren en omgeving kunnen verkennen.

Goed, maar jammer geen verse pistolets van de bakker.

Ontspannend en interessant Tongeren

Op wandelafstand van het cetntrum en toch landelijk gelegen. Erg rustig, ruime mooie en gezellige kamer. Heerlijk ontbijt. Koffie en/of thee beschikbaar en stadsgidsen ook. We bezochten de eerste dag de Grote Markt met Amiorixbeeld en gezellige tavernes errond, het Begijnhof en de archelogische site Teseum, onder de Basiliek, dit laatste overtrof onze verwachtingen! De 2de dag naar sauna Sane ook te Tongeren bezocht, met de auto 10 min af, een ideale ontspannende weekendcombinatie.

Heel gezellige B&B, supervriendelijke mensen, alles op en top. Handige ligging : je kan van daar te voet naar centrum Tongeren. Leuke extra's zoals onthaal met bubbels, late check-in mogelijk, veel info over Tongeren en omgeving,...

Misschien vermelden dat toilet op de gang is ? Hoewel voor ons totaal geen issue
