great location in the heart of Tongeren. spacious room. we were offered a complementary glass of sparkling wine upon arrival, which was nice. thanks.
the air con was not working in our room and we spoke with reception staff several times and the problem was never resolved. the room was hot and uncomfortable.

perfect location when visiting Tongeren
I made reservation for 3 rooms for 1 night. Requested 2 rooms with a large bed and 1 room with 2 single beds. Clearly specified names for respective guests and when we turned up, rooms were not correctly allocated as per the specified names. When I mentioned the first guest who arrived was allocated the wrong room (2 single beds io 1 large bed), reception replied they cannot see this info. So I do not understand why we have to give guest names as this is not even looked at when allocating rooms.
A second remark is that in my room, all the shower soap or shampoo containers were empty. Luckily we always have our own soap with us.
While the rooms are spacious, they have not been designed to be practical. Where you are supposed to hang your coats, a fridge has been placed, leaving no room for hanging your clothes. you cannot open the door of the toilet or shower if a second person is in the bathroom, something which could have been accommodated with sliding doors.
After your stay, the hotel sends you a feedback form but when you complete it, you need to log in via tripadvisor to send it, such a waste of time if the booking is made via booking.com
in short, it’s a hotel with a lot of potential but in need of a professional review.
The room price is as such not really good value and I will considering other options when visiting Tongeren again.

I loved the convenient location to the Sunday antique market. The breakfast buffet was delicious. And the restaurant and garden area was beautiful.
The purple, plastic carpet was uncomfortable and hideous. The tiny desk and chair in the room was equally strange in the huge room. The layout was illogical. A toilet outside of the bathroom, and literally next to the bed, was disgusting. And the toilet itself, in it's oddly tiny room, was the most uncomfortable seat I've ever sat on. And the location of the bathtub in the entry of the room was inconvenient. You guys need to remodel the hotel with someone who is a real interior designer.

We chose not to have breakfast at €19 per person per day.
The reception area was welcoming and the reception staff were extremely pleasant, polite and helpful.
The location is excellent and there was disabled parking right outside the front door.
Our room was not made up so we were allocated a second room with high level sloping windows. The blinds on all windows were closed (to keep the room cool) but the electric shutters weren’t working on 4/5 of the windows which made the room claustrophobic. The young man on reception couldn’t apologise enough and allocated us a 3rd room.
The disabled toilet was at Level -2 but the lifts only went to L-1 and then there was a flight of stairs so not accessible to wheelchairs.
For an ex-convent the soul had been ripped out of the building. All walls were very plain and whitewashed, carpets looked very faded; pillows were very lumpy

the staff was very friendly
It all was a little bit 'out dated'
Bose box was apparently no blue tooth, only an old physical plugin (no recent iPhones)
Bed was good, pillows were very bad. We asked for an extra pillow and got the same small things...

close by the market, clean,
asked for some ice at the reception- the reply was a giggling ‘no ice’ and a hint to whether I wanted ice-cream instead. asked if there was a bar, answer was no. the next morning there was plenty of ice cubes during breakfast. a hotel with this price category, and no solution to a simple ice request, this does not match the professionalism intended.

We liked the breakfast room and breakfast. And the location in the heart of the city.
The cold atmosphere of the rooms and corridors. (doesn’t feel very welcoming - except for the breakfast room which is gorgeous). Should be redecorated/revamped in the same warm and contemporary style as the interior of the restaurant.

Location excellent! Modern hotel, nice decor throughout. Champagne and Mother’s Day free wine on arrival was a lovely touch! Room size great and bathroom very clean. Bed very comfortable and slept very well. Staff very nice and helpful. Like that you can organise a late checkout if required for an extra €10 which was worth it.
Carpet could do with a clean. Cracks in wall in room need repair. No coffee pods with coffee machine.
Main problem was room entry card for electricity also - e.g. if one person went out, they had to go without the key or the other person had no light in room. Also meant couldn’t charge phone whilst out.
Not enough power points in room.
Check out time quite early, midday would be better.
