Stay, lovely town and restaurants exceeded our expectations hope to return next year!

Location was an easy walk from the train station. Pleasant garden views from room window. Area so quiet we sleep with the window open. Bed comfortable. Staff was very friendly at check in/out and prepares eggs cooked to your request during breakfast. Breakfast room with large windows overlooking the garden. Our favorite breakfast experience of our 5 week stay. Recommended restaurant Intermezzo for lunch and salmon cooked lightly to perfection!

Great hotel with friendly staff. Should you need to be in Tongeren, this is the place to stay

Very friendly and helpful gentleman on main desk. Went through map with us and advised on good places to eat. Spoke English very well and was charming. He chose room for us which was very nice, clean and comfortable. Lovely shower that worked well in bathroom. Bed comfortable and very clean. Town centre just a short walk from hotel.

Went to Tongeren for the Sunday antiques market. Very expensive, most of it rubbish. Town not so clean and looks run down in places. Should have only stayed a couple of nights. Food and drink now very expensive in Belgium. Weather far too hot for our liking and extremely humid - would recommend autumnal holiday for anyone wishing to travel to this part of Europe if they dislike this heat we are all experiencing.

Wonderful Boutique Hotel, very spacious room, in top location, with very friendly service, who provided all assistance needed, and great breakfast. We really enjoyed it!

That there is no door at the bathroom, so not much privacy when using the toilet.

It was fantastic!

We were within walking distance of the historic center of the town. Our room was exceptional with an extremely comfortable bed. The buffet breakfast had a large variety of choices and staff even cooked bacon and eggs. Laurence checked us in and provided excellent customer service.

The GPS couldn't give us correct directions because it's on a one way street, and I had difficulty understanding the directions provided by the hotel.

From the moment I entered this hotel, I felt a very good impression from the hotel owner couple who greeted me with a very friendly smile and greeting, and I was able to relieve the fatigue of the trip thanks to the beautiful hotel decoration and comfortable bed. Breakfast was one of the best meals we had on this European tour, the hotel staff was very friendly and overall it was a fantastic place. I strongly recommend this hotel!

This stylish Hotel comes with the History . Shoe maker factory concepted hotel with very nice host and very close to old town . Easy to walk to explore sunday antique market. Rooms are very clean and stylish . Free parking Highly recommend 👍👍👍👍

A lovely period hotel imaginatively presented in easy walk to the town with onsite parking

The hotel was beautifully and sympathetically restored and updated. The bedroom was lovely and well equipped, and the bed was very comfortable. The owner/host was very friendly, knowledgeable and spoke good English. The breakfast was excellent with a very good selection. The hotel had a car park.

We had to pay extra for the car parking space and the breakfast. For a two night stay this added to the cost significantly. The room was equipped with a 'Nespresso' style coffee machine, which for tea drinkers does not produce boiling water; a simple kettle would have been preferable.

All the rooms and communal areas were beautifully kept and the garden space was a beautiful addition for our son to play in.

We were on the top floor which was slightly awkward with a 1yr old as there is no lift for a pushchair but this is only a minor inconvenience and wouldn’t stop us going back there

What a fantastic place. Just the way to start a European road holiday. Corne was the perfect host, so helpful and accommodating. Private car park on site ideal for us. The house turned beautiful boutique hotel belonged to the local shoe manufacturer and its history is reflected throughout this lovely period building. Room 5 with its high ceilings and features was absolutely gorgeous and the bed huge and inviting. So inviting we slept through breakfast unfortunately. The shower was fabulous. The hotel and rooms are so well thought out, with the attention to detail so important and certainly appreciated by ourselves. The perfect 10.

Great stay with a couple of nuances

Great staff, very responsive and helpful. Very large room with a very high ceiling. No door in the bathroom, might be a bit a of a problem if you need some privacy. Hotel itself is very quiet, but there is a large construction site (as of March 2022) just outside with works starting at 7 am. We did not mind since we had to wake up at that time. 5 min walk to centre of the city. Overall very happy and all we needed for our trip.

We had a very nice holiday in this hotel and in Tongeren.

Excellent breakfast. Free coffee service in the hotel and in the room. Big private parking, witch is closed for the night. Safe parking for our bicycles. Nice garden and terras. Hotel was near the center of Tongeren.

There was only 1 socket in the room and 1 in the bathroom. The room was very warm to sleep.
