We were very pleased with our stay at the hotel.

The hotel is located right in the center. The antiques fair on Sundays is held under the hotel in the covered parking lot and in the adjacent streets. Huge covered parking lot under the hotel. Elevator and air conditioning. The restaurant adjacent to the lobby is excellent. We were very pleased with our stay at the hotel.

A pleasant hotel in an intriguing town.

The hotel is a little confusing to find, and then it was not easy to locate the parking, but that could be just us. Despite that, it is a pleasant place, which gave us a relaxing night on our travels.

It was a bit disappointing to find that the view we were told we would get was one looking through a side street in the shopping mall.

Checking in at 15:00 but checking out - at 10:00, too early for the check out and too late for the check in. The bed was very narrow and not very comfortable. Blanket - too thick for the time of the year. Too hot with it, cold without.

Friendly staff, great breakfast, good bed, clean rooms. Great location in a wonderful town

The hotel has seen better times. The rooms are very dated, the bath, toilet and shower have probably last been renovated more than 20 years ago. The shower was clean but uninviting. The airco was probably even older and really loud - this made it practically unusable because of it. The price, however, does not reflect any of these things. It's not value for money.

Perfect location for the Tongeren Sunday market. Literally just walk downstairs and out the front door and the market is on your doorstep.

Breakfast didn’t open until 7 and the market opens at 7 and checkout was at 10am which is early and crimps into market shopping time.

Decent small hotel in central location

Spacious room. Toilet separate from the bathroom. Good location.

Floor in our room was carpeted - not everyone likes that. And heating is electric, meaning it can be rather noisy when turned on. No reading lights.

A great location for a visit to Tongeren

If you are going to spend a Sunday morning at the Tongeren Antiques Market, this hotel is perfect to start that journey. The rooms are much bigger than the norm in Europe and very comfortable. The staff all speak excellent English and the restaurant in the hotel is very good.

Parking in Tongeren is tricky on the best day. Trying to find a spot that is not too far away, too expensive, or located to get you towed for market day is very difficult.

It was good to get away for a few days .. this was my first trip 'abroad' since Jan. 2020.

For our 'city trip' Ambiotel was perfectly located. Within walking distance from the main railway station it was easy to find. It is also located on a small square with plenty of restaurants and bars. And very near to the famous Antique/Flea Market, held every Sunday.

At EUR 17 I thought the breakfast was expensive so we decided to go elsewhere. I should add that I am a vegetarian so a lot of the breakfast would probably have been fine for non-vegetarians.
