A unique experience! This is a UNESCO listed property dating back to 1640 so the rooms are Spartan with just the bare minimum in decor but spotlessly clean and comfortable and surprisingly roomy. We also had a little rooftop balcony area to sit amongst the crooked rooftops. Ensuite bathroom was modern and clean.
There is no elevator of course so the only access to the rooms is up a very steep, very narrow staircase which took some effort to negotiate with our luggage. Thankfully our room was on the first floor because the second storey staircase was even steeper. Not suitable for anyone with mobility issues.

BIj aankomst hebben we alle nodige uitleg ontvangen en hebben verder een zalig fijn verblijf gehad.
