Fantastic flat in Ghent

The location was great for our needs as we were traveling to Brugges as well. Was indeed a 5 minute walk to the train station. Tram stop for number 3 or number 1 tram to take us into Ghent city center was only a 5 minute walk away as well- 10 mins on tram takes you into center. Apartment is beautiful, very clean and had everything we required for a 3 night stay.

The steep and narrow stairs to the flat were taken carefully and slowly but didn't detract from the convenience and luxury of the flat itself.

Excellent location near the train station. Very clean in all area and beds were very comfortable with good pillows and very good air conditioning throughout the apartment.

Excellent.

The apartment is close(5 min. walking distance) to the train station and about 25 minutes to all main places/activities in Ghent. Clean, comfortable + kitchen with all required appliances. The owner(Olivier) contacted & helped us directly. Thanks!

Noticed from the previous comments about noisy conditions between the floors... I think, just need to respect each other who is living there in the same time. Probably it's impossible. Our "HIPPOs" from the top floor was walking continuously.

Perfect place for a family visit to Ghent!

Property was very clean and modern. It had 3 nice bedrooms and a good bathroom. Very easy to access from Sint Pieters train station (about a 5 min walk with luggage) and close to tram to get around city. There is a small food shop a few doors down to get snacks and drinks. There are a few good restaurants and cafes near train station. We enjoyed the small patio off kitchen to have a good Belgian beer and watch the trains. If you like trains, this is great! 😁

I wish it was a little closer to center of city, but it’s really just about a 15 min trip. 5 min walk to tram and then about a 10 min ride. Tickets were very easy to purchase at ticket machine. Tram is very clean and easy to use. This is not a big problem for us, but be advised it is 3 flights of narrow stairs to this apartment. You will need to carry your luggage up.

We have only great things to say! It was very close to the train station and bus lines but yet only a 30 min walk to the city center. It’s all updated with high quality furnishings! Exceptional clean! The owner is amazing, greeted us, gave us useful information. We highly recommend this apartment!

There are a lot of steps, it was not a problem for us but may be for others. If steps are an issue request a first or second floor apartment. Oliver is very accommodating.

wonderful and modern flat, super close to the station and warmly furnished

the flat is wonderful, charming, beautifully furnished with many warm touches which make you feel really at home. location is great, few minutes from the station. everything is comfortable but the best is the owner, Olivier, who takes care 100% about you and is the kindest person ever!!

the toilet is in a tiny room without ventilation, if you travel with colleagues this is not ideal… also the stairs to go to the top floor are very small and not suited for large feet!

Great place to stay in Ghent.

We only spend the night here, during the day we attended a conference. The apartment was situated just perfectly for us. Everything was as portrayed in the description. Only thing we missed was an iron, that was brought to us when we asked for it.

The apartment is newly redone and nicely decorated. The location is a quick tram ride into Ghent. We found street parking quite easily.

Just be warned that the apartment is up several narrow sets of stairs (no elevator). We were fine with our carry-on size luggage, but it would be a challenge (though not impossible) with checked bag size suitcases. The walls were slightly thin too so you could occasionally hear the neighbors, but it wasn’t disruptive.

Gut ausgestattet, Lage in Bahnhofsnähe, leider laut

Gute Lage für Bahnreisende. Wir sind mit dem Auto angekommen und fanden direkt vor dem Haus einen Parkplatz, der mit einer App bezahlt werden kann. Zur Besichtigung der belgischen Städte ist der Bahnhof Gent Sint Pieters ideal. Die Wohnung ist sehr gut ausgestattet, hat bequeme Betten.

Wir wussten, dass die Wohnung zwischen den Bahngleisen und einer Strasse mit Strassenbahn und Bussen liegt. Leider lassen die Fenster und die Balkontür mehr Lärm in die Zimmer als befürchtet. Auch hört man jeden Schritt aus der Wohnung darüber. Dass diie Stiegen in den 3. Stock eine Herausforderung sind, haben wir vorab gelesen und können es bestätigen.
