Of the three similar apartments booked (Rome, Venice and Milan), the experience was the best at Venice. Quite close to the Railway Station (just need a cart porter to help you bring the luggage, for a short kilometer of nice walk). Access to two water-bus stations on both main canals. Nice groceries market nearby. Very helpful hostess who set us up nicely on the first day.
All great.. Just a small irritant was ants looking for food scraps in the kitchen garbage area.. May need some simple treatment to avert them.
