Great location but noisy business in front of the property

The location

It is a Pub in front of the property, it is very noisy and the continue until 3 or 4 pm. Could not sleep well because of this.

Good location

The property is in a very poor state of repair. It's difficult to know where to start . After numerous contact with agent hot water / heating was not restored until the last morning of our stay . Broken chairs so only dining seating for 2. Cooker didn't work. Flat was grubby. Cooking pans in poor state. Broke m glass. Plugs missing. Kettle lid broken. The property is clearly not looked after. Avoid at all cost until repairs are done. Owner is aware. Lot of noise from street below. Double glazing old and ineffective.

Not so comfortable but OK and soooo well located

Superb location in the city center, on George Square and Queen Street train station, just near Agryll Road (shopping). 2 bathrooms. Good kitchen equipment, coffee, tea &c.

The street can be a little noisy at night, but OK with earplugs. In one of the bathroom there was no hot water. Overall, the appartment is ok but a bit old. Only one set of key, so not very convenient if your group want to split or have different timing. And finally, for our stay the appartment was not ready on time.

A good family stay at Glasgow city centre for Scots

Prime location at Glasgow city and kitchen is good for self cooking. Two bedrooms are good for family trip.

A bit noisy at night especially on Friday to Sunday is common. The issue of washing machine was only fixed after three days from report. No user guides/menus for operations of TV and oven was available. Washing pods and dishwasher pods were insufficient. No guide for occupiers to dispose garbage at the basement was found. The mattresses are too soft to sleep.

Central but uncomfortable

The apartment was situated in the Center of Merchant City. The communication with the hosts was quick and easy.

The quality of the apartment was quite bad. The two bed mattresses were very old and one was too soft. At the second bed, I felt the innersprings, which even hurt. The two carpets were dirty, and the paper wall had spots. Most of the LED- lamps of the ceiling inches kitchen and the entrance hall were broken. The published photos looked much better than the reality. In front of the house was a bar which opened every night until 2 a.m. which was quite noisy.

Great location, great service

Excellent communication and service throughout our stay. Step by step details to pick up the key made it really easy. Flat was fully equipped and in a great, central location, near the main stations, hop-on, hop-off bus etc. I would stay there again. The host was super responsive and kind.

The mattress in the non-ensuite room has a lot of wires that you can feel. with one person only, he could avoid the worst of them, but I think a new mattress is needed to be honest. The bed in the other room was really comfortable. Be aware you are in the centre of Glasgow, opposite a bar, so there will be some noise at night. The windows are double glazed and quite effective.

Superb

The location was perfect. Everything was well arranged. The host did everything possible to meet our needs. We were able to check-in earlier. The flat was clean and comfortable. We felt at home. Ideal for families.

A bit noisy at night from the pubs in the street. But not all nights.
