Archontiko Petrettini Boutique Hotel

Walking through the house into the gardens immediately provided a sense of calm. It's a real hidden secret. The host, Elena (if I remember correctly), was lovely and very accomodating, adding to the experience. Also the taverna in town is lovely.

Only thing I would say is that the location is more rural so recommend that you have transport sorted.

This is a hotel that's well worth a stay. Oldest house on the Island and full of history as the staff are happy to tell you about. Ok the place could do with a bit of TLC. The girl on receptionist was lovely and so friendly. Breakfast was bits a pieces but very nice. Location was perfect

Love the location! A little out from the main busy, Corfu town and in a lovely little village with a delightful taverna (Costa's) right across the Square. The garden out back and swimming pool are really quite nice. The staff was extremely welcoming and helpful – (shout out to Elina and Hera!). Hadn't been back this way for over 52 years, but still as lovely and magical as I remember it!

The staff were very friendly and rooms (we had an apartment) were well laid out. Swimming pool was a lovely size and very quiet! The medium sized garden was also nice to look around and we enjoyed seeing the vegetable patch. The breakfast had a good spread although it was a one size fits all approach with lots of breads. Nice to have a bath for the children

No restaurant at the hotel despite this being advertised on booking.com. There is a bar with good coffee but other than a few biscuits there's not really anything to eat onsite. The breakfast in the morning had a good spread but any allergies would have been difficult to work around, particular dairy or gluten based ones. There wasnt a shower as such (again this was advertised), a sort of deep tub with a shower head, but there was a separate bath. It generally felt a bit tired - the travelcot had a massive hole at one end and one of the toilets was leaking slightly from the base (although we could easily use the other one!)
