Wunderbar

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen 7 Tage Urlaub im Hotel Domes of Corfu. Wer entspannen möchte, ist hier genau richtig. Das Design des Hotels ist sehr ansprechend und die Lage direkt an einem großen Sandstrand mit verschiedenen Pools und Beach Bar ist hervorragend. Mit Halbpension und der Dine Around Pauschale kann man sich aussuchen in welchem der 3 Restaurants man zu Abend essen möchte. Die Zimmer könnten etwas größer sein, aber wir waren in der 3. Etage mit Meerblick sehr zufrieden.

Man braucht unbedingt ein Auto. Es war schade, dass das Restaurant Meze und das Yosobai nicht an allen Tagen geöffnet hatte. Die Zimmer könnten etwas größer sein. Bei schlechtem Wetter wäre zB ein Whirlpool oder eine Sauna perfekt gewesen.

Tolle Location, schöne Lage!

Moderne Zimmer, angenehme Betten, Zimmer gut ausgestattet, Büfett sehr umfangreich und gut, wunderschöne Lage, sehr freundliches Personal, wären gerne länger geblieben, waren aber nur für 1 Nacht während dem Corfu-Trail zu Gast

Der parfümierte Dauergeruch, das wegnehmen der Koffer bei der Anreise und die Lieferung erst auf Nachfrage in unser Zimmer. Es waren keine 100 Meter, nett gemeint aber sinnfrei.

Super Lage am tollen nicht zu vollen Strand, jedoch hat das Hotel doch einige Mängel.

die Lage am tollen Strand war sehr schön. Die Anlage des Hotels war grundsätzlich schön. Es war sehr ruhig. Das Hotel ist architektonisch sehr ansprechend gestaltet, man fragt sich jedoch immer wo man einmal gemütlich sitzen kann. Viel zu viel freier Platz und zuwenige Tische zum abendlichen Ausklang. Es scheint alles auf Halbpension ausgelegt zu sein.

Das Frühstück war nicht besonders gut. Es war zwar reichhaltig, jedoch waren sämtliche Eierspeisen kalt. Ein Spiegelei, Rührei oder ein French Toast kalt zu essen war keine Freude. Der Kaffee war ebenfalls unterdurchschnittlich, Gebäck an manchen Tagen alt und trocken. Die Betten waren durchgelegen und der Zimmerservice was die Reinigung betraf nicht besonders gut und sauber. Sehr traurig war, dass die ansich tolle Strandbar abends nicht sehr lange auf hatte. Mal um 18.00 Uhr mal um 19.00 Uhr geschlossen. Die Getränkepreise teilweise unglaublich hoch.

Schöner, erholsamer Baderurlaub - gerne wieder

Liegt an einem schönen Sandstrand - sauberes, klares Meer (blaue Flagge) mit angenehmen Wellengang. Schnorchelmöglichkeiten in der Nähe. Ausreichend Liegen und Schirme (09/2025) ohne Gebühr vorhanden. Schönes Hotel das alles bietet, was wir brauchten. Verpflegung sehr gut und abwechslungsreich. Frühstück und Abendessen (wenn man möchte) in Buffetform. Hier wirkte ein Teil des Personals manchmal überfordert. Mittags gibt es eine schöne, hoteleigene Möglichkeit am Strand, im Schatten satt zu werden. Es war der (Bade-)Urlaub, den wir uns vorgestellt haben - wir kommen gerne wieder.

Wie so oft ist es schwierig, für alle Hotelbereiche geeignetes Personal zu finden. Betrifft aber nur einen sehr kleinen Teil der Mannschaft.

Beautiful beach hotel with directional design and super friendly staff

Loved the hotel - beautifully designed with lots of interesting spaces, and a great set-up for the pools. It's on an amazing beach and we couldn't have had better weather. The sunsets were off the scale and the sea view was absolutely worth it! Staff were very friendly and helpful - there was a great spread of food for breakfast and dinner. We stayed as a family in an interconnecting room which worked really well. Amazing service after we left and managed to forget a fishing rod. With their help it was tracked down and we got it back. Thank you!

Staff seemed a little overwhelmed at times - we gave up waiting for our bags to be delivered and just collected them ourselves after waiting an hour or so. Same was true at dinner when drinks didn't get delivered one night. This sounds more dramatic than it was - neither was an issue. And worth stressing that everyone was super friendly about it but perhaps they just need a couple more people. (I should also add they were amazing at helping us track down a lost fishing rod - so incredibly helpful.)

Lage gut, Hotel schlecht

die Lage des Hotels, die Gartenanlage und der Strand waren sehr gut.

Das Zimmer war sehr klein, es gibt Verbindungstüren zu den anderen Zimmern und die sind extrem hellhörig. Das Badezimmer weist einen sehr schlechten Standard auf, das Wasser im Waschbecken rinnt nur sehr langsam ab, zwar haben wir die Reparatur urgiert, aber keine Besserung erhalten. Das halbe Personal besteht aus Volontären, zwar bemüht aber etwas kopflos. Insgesamt kann man das Hotel nur mit 3 Sternen bewerten, daher ist der Preis etwas zu hoch. Wir werden dieses Hotel jedenfalls nicht mehr buchen

Worst Hotel Experience Ever — Avoid at All Costs!

This hotel was a complete disaster from start to finish. • The staff was rude, careless, and unwelcoming — zero sense of hospitality. • We booked a decent-sized room, but got a tiny box instead. After complaining, they “upgraded” us… to another tiny box. • Filthy rooms and horrible cleaning — hair everywhere, dust, and no proper housekeeping at all. • Room service shuts down at 11 PM — ridiculous for a hotel of this price. • Wasted half a day arguing at check-in because of their mistakes. The director promised a refund to “make it right” — surprise, surprise, never happened. Overpriced, dirty, dishonest. If you value your time, money, and nerves — stay far, far away from this place.

Brilliant property, slightly let down by service niggles.

The property is thoughtfully laid out and well set up to cater to different types of visitors. It has an ideal position on the beachfront. My room was spacious and airy and in great condition with all amenities I could need. The staff I interacted with during my stay were all friendly and helpful - some really notably so. Food options are pretty good (important since there’s not many local alternatives) even if breakfast is a little hectic.

I arrived at Corfu port - never let anyone tell you taxis are “freely available”. Absolutely prebook. I tried to call the hotel to assist - it was nearly impossible to find a direct phone number and then it rang out twice. Eventually upon arriving no one at the desk acknowledged me for five minutes. Someone finally took me to sit down - no offer of a welcome drink or even a glass of water as I was left to wait again. Room wasn’t ready (fair enough - I was before 3pm). I was promised they would expedite and call me but by 3:30 I had heard nothing. At reception I was told there was an issue and I was offered a lunch voucher and again told they would call me in 15 minutes to confirm my room was available. They didn’t. Check out was only slightly smoother. Compared to all the other service, reception need to lift their game, particularly at this price point. Otherwise only other gripe is the traditional issue of people reserving sun beds with towels (or maybe leaving them and so it’s unclear what is free) which the hotel has not found a way to address.

Pour deux adultes et un enfant, pas assez de place les placards sont trop petits la propreté moyen, j’ai trouvé des traces sur les coussins, la piscine n’était pas propre un peu déçu de cet hôtel

Beau séjour en famille dans un hôtel de qualité, sur une plage magnifique.

Très bel hôtel calme situé sur une plage de sable fin, avec une ambiance agréable. Transats disponibles sans difficulté, aussi bien à la piscine qu’à la plage. Le petit déjeuner, le buffet et la restauration sont de très bonne qualité, avec un large choix. Mention spéciale pour le poisson frais au restaurant grec et le restaurant japonais. Le personnel est très sympathique, particulièrement attentionné avec les enfants. Piscine surveillée avec vue sur la mer, magnifique coucher de soleil, spa professionnel et salle de sport bien équipée. Après un malentendu la première nuit, la guest manager Diana — que nous remercions chaleureusement — a transformé notre séjour avec beaucoup de gentillesse et de professionnalisme. Elle est restée disponible et attentionnée tout au long de notre séjour.

Excellent petit déjeuner tres complet. Plage devant l'hotel magnifique. Chambre avec balcon vue mer et salle de bain confortables. Buffet du soir très bien. Restaurant grec correct et très copieux. Restaurant japonais très cher et à l'intérieur !

Le service pas digne d'un hotel de cette catégorie. L'accueil est déplacé et pas à la hauteur en demandant les allergies et traitement médicamenteux sans aucune présentation des différents services proposés par l'hotel (spa, salle de sport, location de matériel ou activités).

The bedrooms were very poor - extremely small and very tired. We had three bedrooms/bathrooms and all of us ended up using one shower as the other two didn’t work : one had no hot water and the others shower fixture had completely fallen off the wall

Wundervoller Ort am Strand von Glyfada

Alles! Unser geschmackvoll eingerichtetes Zimmer mit Balkon hatte einen weiten Blick auf den Garten, Pool und das Meer. Das Abendessen und Frühstück (Buffet) waren hervorragend. Wir erhielten immer einen Tisch draußen auf der wunderschönen Terrasse mit Meerblick zugewiesen. Am Meer und an den Pools haben wir genügend freie Liegestühle gefunden, der Badetuchservice war super. Alle Mitarbeiter (vom Gärtner bis zum Service oder Rezeption oder Reinigungsdienst) waren sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir haben diesen Tage sehr genossen. Danke!

Uns fällt nichts ein. Oberhalb unserer Suite war das Restaurant - einmal hörten wir das Schieben von Stühlen oder Tischen, sonst jedoch keine Geräusche- es ist kaum erwähnenswert.

Wir kommen gerne wieder ! Ein tolles Hotel, mit sehr gutem Essen.

Das Hotel liegt an einem wirklich schönen und sauberen Strand – das war für uns definitiv ein Highlight. Auch das Essen hat uns sehr überzeugt: Sowohl Frühstück als auch Abendessen waren abwechslungsreich, geschmackvoll und immer frisch. Die Mitarbeiter waren alle sehr nett und höflich, man hat sich gut aufgehoben gefühlt. Wir haben oft am Strand bestellt, Getränke und Essen waren ebenfalls sehr gut!

Wir hatten leider etwas Pech mit den Nachbarn über uns – dafür kann das Hotel natürlich nichts. Dennoch war es unangenehm, dass nachts Möbel gerückt wurden, was den Schlaf gestört hat. Das Bett war leider nicht besonders bequem und insgesamt zu klein. Auch die Zimmer wirken in Teilen renovierungsbedürftig – hier wäre eine Auffrischung wünschenswert. Wir hatten uns auf die Eisdiele im Hotel gefreut. Der Preis von 2,50 € pro Kugel ist grundsätzlich in Ordnung, jedoch waren die Portionen sehr klein. Es wurde nur etwa eine Viertel Kugel ausgegeben, was in keinem Verhältnis zum Preis steht. Zudem wirkten die Mitarbeitenden an der Eisdiele wenig engagiert. Was uns ebenfalls aufgefallen ist – und was man vielleicht organisatorisch verbessern könnte – betrifft den Buffetbereich: Käse- und Wurstsorten lagen direkt nebeneinander. Obwohl für jede Sorte eine eigene Zange bereitstand, haben manche Gäste leider die Zangen über Kreuz benutzt, z. B. mit der Wurstzange Käsescheiben genommen. Das ist natürlich nicht die Schuld des Hotels, aber eine klare räumliche Trennung der Käse- und Wurstabteilung würde helfen, um auch religiöse oder vegetarisch lebende Gäste zu respektieren und Kreuzkontamination zu vermeiden. Das wäre ein schönes Zeichen für Rücksichtnahme und Achtsamkeit. Alles in allem gab es einige positive Ansätze, aber auch Punkte, die verbessert werden könnten – besonders in Bezug auf Schlafkomfort, Servicequalität und Zimmerzustand.

5* anscheinend unter reichlich Ouzo Konsum vergeben...

Die Lage war ruhig, eine kleine Bucht, der Strand war Top, die Aussicht des Zimmers aufs Meer wunderschön

Ich weis nicht wo dieses Hotel 5* ergattert haben soll bzw. womit diese gerechtfertigt wäre, wer es sich ersparen möchte den Text zu lesen, einfach nicht buchen wenn man 5*-Ansprüche hat. Im Vorfeld des Aufenthaltes wurden 2 Anfragen an das Hotel geschickt (großer, geschützter Parkplatz; Organisation eines Yachttrips) - beide Anfrage sind unbeantwortet geblieben. Das Hotel bedient sich keinem Personal mit Branchenerfahrung, es handelt sich augenscheinlich um Lehrlinge, keiner weis wie man Gäste behandelt. Wir bereits die Welt in 5*-Stern Hotels und Resorts, und wissen daher was in dieser Kategorie geboten werden sollte, jedoch weit entfernt von dem was im Domes geboten wurde. Das Hotel war nicht in der Lage ein iPhone-Ladekabel zu organisieren (dies sollte im Jahr 2025 internationaler Standard sein), man hätte auch einen Concierge in den Supermarkt schicken soll....hatte ich vergessen dies gibt es nicht, lediglich unfähiges Personal an der Rezeption. Zuletzt wurde ein Kabel "gefunden" aber das Laden war nur an der Rezeption möglich wenn das Handy dort verbleibt. Das Frühstück ist eine reine Frechheit, es gibt gepressten Putenschinken und einen fettigen Bauchschinken, keine Salami, keinen Rohschinken, keinen Lach oder ähnliches, die Halle ist eine Massenabfertigungshalle mit Papierunterlagen wie am Dönerstand, man wartet ewig bis einem Personal einen Kaffee oder Tee bringt, mehrfach wurde auf uns vergessen, zuletzt kamen Tassen ohne Untersetzer manchmal sogar außer noch schmutzig, anstatt die Tasse zu tauschen wird Diskutiert das dies von der Spülmaschine sein, bla bla alles was einen Gast nicht zu interessieren hat. Zu Mittag gibt es in Strandnähe die nächste laute Halle mit den selben Papiersets am Tisch, lediglich eine Handvoll Gerichten auf der Karte - wohlgemerkt man konnte zu Mittag nur in diesem Lokal essen - Tsaziki zu den Pommes dazu war zu viel verlangt, in Griechenland? Das größte Problem sind die vielen Kinder, mehr Platz ist nicht...

Family holiday

The beds and rooms were super comfortable and the beach is amazing to relax at.

It’s definitely a family holiday place. There are a lot of children, so if you want a place to relax this may not be the place to do so. Also, the rooms can be quite loud - especially the rooms with adjoining door or ones by the elevator. I can’t say I’ll be back. The domes in Crete is way better and would recommend that place over the one is Corfu. Also, the food was okay - the restaurants were not open all the time so we left the hotel into the nearby towns to eat.

Relaxing, beautiful and comfortable.

Loved the beach and being able to order drinks to the beach loungers. Staff were very friendly and helped organise taxis most days.

Our fridge didn’t work in our room - to be fair we didn’t contact reception to notify them but I’m sure this would have been rectified if we had told them. The only downside of the location is that there are no nearby shops within walking distance that are open off-season, which is difficult for buying snacks or cigarettes.

Hôtel très bien situé, personnel aux petits soins, infrastructure extérieure très agréable (grande piscine, contexte verdoyant), ensemble très bien entretenu (grande propreté), espace privé agréable (lit spacieux et confortable, salle d'eau bien agencée avec tout le nécessaire à disposition, large terrasse attenante). Les espaces communs dans l'hôtel sont spacieux et l'on peut trouver facilement un endroit où se poser, au calme. En ce qui concerne la restauration, il y a de quoi satisfaire tous les goûts, chacun composant son assiette au gré des multiples propositions, les repas pouvant se réaliser en intérieur ou en terrasse face à la mer. Possibilité également de choisir un type de restauration plus spécialisé (restaurant asiatique ou restaurant produits de la mer) mais nous n'en avons pas fait l'essai. De même l'établissement propose une salle de sport et des SPA que nous n'avons pas utilisés. En conclusion, je recommande cet établissement.

Sehr schöner Familienurlaub in familienfreundlichem Hotel

Sehr schöne Lage, mit herrlichem Blick auf das Meer und sehr familienfreundlich. Beim Frühstück und Abendessen ein eigener Kids Corner vorhanden. Abendessen sehr abwechslungsreich.

Spielplatz: Der Spielplatz ist leider sehr klein mit Rutsche, Balance-Brücke und Wippe. Keine Rutsche oder Drehkarussell, etc. Frühstück/Abendessen: Beim Abendessen musste man immer proaktiv auf die KellnerInnen zugehen, damit man etwas zu trinken bestellen konnte. Und grundsätzlich waren einige nicht sehr geschult oder zuvorkommend. Dann kam meistens auch die Rechnung vor den Getränken. Qualität der Speisen ausreichend aber nicht für ein 5*-Hotel. Check-In: Beim Check-In wurde nicht alle wichtigen Infos weitergegeben (Zeiten für Familytime des Kids Clubs, wo befindet sich der Fitnessraum, wo befinden sich die Strandtücher, etc.). Zimmer: Wir hatten eine Junior-Suite mit seitlichem Meerblick. Leider war das Zimmer sehr klein und draussen immer eine laute Lüftung zu hören, sodass man nicht bei offenem Fenster schlafen konnte.
