Superior hotel on a beautiful beach and landscape.

The sorrounding (Glyfada Beach). I have visited before a few Greek islands/beaches, and I had the assumption that Corfu and Glyfada will be average/below average. Well, completely the opposite: the place with is stunning, full with greenery, mountains, sparkling clean sea and sand. The hotel itself: I expected Marriott to be high quality, but this hotel was superior quality. The food, the cleaniness, friendliness of staff, the pools, facilites etc. Especially I'd call out the Greek food and desserts. They were exceptionally tasty!

If you look for a completely quiet room, the Junior Suite with Sea view should be probably NOT your choice, since those rooms are located right under the bar/entertainment area. It didn't bother me, my wife and our little boy too much, but next time probably I would try to choose a room more far from this area. The gallon water in the gym was empty.

Super hotel and location - avoid rooms on the stairwell

This is a super hotel with great facilities and is in a superb location. It’s perfect for families and anyone else to be honest

our room was in the stairwell and was very noisy We went towards the end of October and they had turned off the airconditioning. When we complained, they told us to open the balcony door but it wasn’t really safe to do that as it was accessible from other balconies.

Well equipped hotel in a stunning location

Lovely seafront location, modern hotel with helpful, polite staff. Adult only areas in the restaurant and an adults only pool. Rooms were clean and well equipped. Vast array and variety of food in the buffet restaurant. Some talented musicians as evening entertainment

Room was small with minimal storage. Nowhere to store shoes as the bottom of the wardrobe was fitted with drawers. Although the balcony was large there were only a couple of uncomfortable chairs, sunbeds would’ve been nicer. Odd design of room - no door between the bedroom and bathroom with a bedroom mirror placed opposite the shower so no privacy

Great place for relaxing at the sea

The location directly by the sea is excellent for vacation so the beach (and I guess pools as well even if unfortunately I couldn't test'em because the first day of the weather conditions and the second because they were closed probably for cleaning. The junior suite I had was very well oriented to the sea and its balcony pretty romantic, Breakfast is very good and reach. Personnel is very nice.

Apartment size was not really suite-style, I'd say more a regular room. The toilet is a bit small and basic (yes, I'm Italian, so I would have loved to have a bidet). The check-out time IMO should be at noon as normal for 5-stars hotels, rather than 11 am.

Beautiful beach hotel with directional design and super friendly staff

Loved the hotel - beautifully designed with lots of interesting spaces, and a great set-up for the pools. It's on an amazing beach and we couldn't have had better weather. The sunsets were off the scale and the sea view was absolutely worth it! Staff were very friendly and helpful - there was a great spread of food for breakfast and dinner. We stayed as a family in an interconnecting room which worked really well. Amazing service after we left and managed to forget a fishing rod. With their help it was tracked down and we got it back. Thank you!

Staff seemed a little overwhelmed at times - we gave up waiting for our bags to be delivered and just collected them ourselves after waiting an hour or so. Same was true at dinner when drinks didn't get delivered one night. This sounds more dramatic than it was - neither was an issue. And worth stressing that everyone was super friendly about it but perhaps they just need a couple more people. (I should also add they were amazing at helping us track down a lost fishing rod - so incredibly helpful.)

Worst Hotel Experience Ever — Avoid at All Costs!

This hotel was a complete disaster from start to finish. • The staff was rude, careless, and unwelcoming — zero sense of hospitality. • We booked a decent-sized room, but got a tiny box instead. After complaining, they “upgraded” us… to another tiny box. • Filthy rooms and horrible cleaning — hair everywhere, dust, and no proper housekeeping at all. • Room service shuts down at 11 PM — ridiculous for a hotel of this price. • Wasted half a day arguing at check-in because of their mistakes. The director promised a refund to “make it right” — surprise, surprise, never happened. Overpriced, dirty, dishonest. If you value your time, money, and nerves — stay far, far away from this place.

Brilliant property, slightly let down by service niggles.

The property is thoughtfully laid out and well set up to cater to different types of visitors. It has an ideal position on the beachfront. My room was spacious and airy and in great condition with all amenities I could need. The staff I interacted with during my stay were all friendly and helpful - some really notably so. Food options are pretty good (important since there’s not many local alternatives) even if breakfast is a little hectic.

I arrived at Corfu port - never let anyone tell you taxis are “freely available”. Absolutely prebook. I tried to call the hotel to assist - it was nearly impossible to find a direct phone number and then it rang out twice. Eventually upon arriving no one at the desk acknowledged me for five minutes. Someone finally took me to sit down - no offer of a welcome drink or even a glass of water as I was left to wait again. Room wasn’t ready (fair enough - I was before 3pm). I was promised they would expedite and call me but by 3:30 I had heard nothing. At reception I was told there was an issue and I was offered a lunch voucher and again told they would call me in 15 minutes to confirm my room was available. They didn’t. Check out was only slightly smoother. Compared to all the other service, reception need to lift their game, particularly at this price point. Otherwise only other gripe is the traditional issue of people reserving sun beds with towels (or maybe leaving them and so it’s unclear what is free) which the hotel has not found a way to address.

Checking in takes forever, we really don't need a lengthy explanation on how your hotel works! If you need over half an hour to explain you have most likely made everything too complicated !

The bedrooms were very poor - extremely small and very tired. We had three bedrooms/bathrooms and all of us ended up using one shower as the other two didn’t work : one had no hot water and the others shower fixture had completely fallen off the wall

Family holiday

The beds and rooms were super comfortable and the beach is amazing to relax at.

It’s definitely a family holiday place. There are a lot of children, so if you want a place to relax this may not be the place to do so. Also, the rooms can be quite loud - especially the rooms with adjoining door or ones by the elevator. I can’t say I’ll be back. The domes in Crete is way better and would recommend that place over the one is Corfu. Also, the food was okay - the restaurants were not open all the time so we left the hotel into the nearby towns to eat.

Relaxing, beautiful and comfortable.

Loved the beach and being able to order drinks to the beach loungers. Staff were very friendly and helped organise taxis most days.

Our fridge didn’t work in our room - to be fair we didn’t contact reception to notify them but I’m sure this would have been rectified if we had told them. The only downside of the location is that there are no nearby shops within walking distance that are open off-season, which is difficult for buying snacks or cigarettes.

Great location and beach.... Book restaurants early

Beach was amazing. Very sandy and quiet morning and evening. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. The food was good although a little cold on occasion.

It was difficult to get a table in the other restaurants. That could be that we left it too late and tried to book when we arrived. Definitely book at least a week or two before your arrival.

Everything. What a fantastic place to stay! Certainly setup for the people who stay-vacation within the hotel (not us adventurers). Everyone dealt with was fantastic! Staff are very pleasant and very helpful. The buffet breakfast and dinner is the best we have ever had anywhere before. We couldn’t fault anything with our stay, especially as was a 1 hour before arrive booking! We walked out on our previous booking for reasons and so glad I toke the drive the Domes of Corfu!!

Room was nice and clean with a good view. Breakfast buffet had plenty to choose from and staff were very nice there.

Some staff members were rude. A lot of young, screaming kids. No quiet spaces at all. Pools were always overcrowded and not value for money at all.

never coming back

beach is really beautiful, food included at half board is good, stuff during the stay was polite and helpful. yoga on the beach was really good as well. hotel is in the middle of green hills, looks really beautiful. thing you have to remember: it’s not an adults only hotel, even if they don’t have specific facilities for kids, people with kids go there. adults only pool is small (only 10 sun beds) and adults only zone on the beach is also tiny and too close to general zone. you will be surrounded by kids even in September.

food: room service, lunch restaurant on the beach, dinner restaurant at the beach - disaster. the worse food I ever had at the hotel. I don’t know how they manage to make french fries and club sandwich uneatable. we had last dinner at Topos restaurant at the beach and it was absolutely not tasty, we’ve got food poisoning (eating different things) and they lied about tips (this I noticed in the final bill, but had no willing to make a scene and payed). couple of times I found hair in salads at the dinner free flow. facilities: two times (we stayed 7 nights) we were waking up in the middle of the night because of the fire alarm. sand on the room floor was always there even after cleaning. vanity kit you get one per stay, you have to ask all the time for a new one. location: beach is great, but there is no place to walk at all, you have to have a car or be ready to pay 20-70€ one way for a taxi to get somewhere. team: during the stay they were helpful and nice. after check out at the airport I realized that I forgot my airpods in the room, last seen location at my apple ID profile was hotel and the room. I called the hotel to check it, but they didn’t find it. even more: they were never calling me back, I called them 3-4 times myself and was telling this story again and again to different people. I called them before check in time, so only employees had an access to the room and still didn’t find them👌🏻

Beautiful hotel but not 5 star

This place is beautiful, amazingly decorated with fabulous gardens with breathtaking views everywhere.

there were a few things that didn’t live up to the star rating. We went in high season so the hotel was fully booked so understand most of these issues prob wouldn’t happen in quieter weeks, the staff were great but just didn’t seem like enough of them, we were constantly waiting to be served and never actually managed to get drinks to our beds etc… we just ended up ordering at the bar which was much quicker. Room looked lovely but the shower leaked and it wasn’t cleaned one of the days we were there… again not a massive issue but you expect more for 5 star. Also our biggest disappointment was we thought the food was really average but expensive. We ended up eating up in the village at the top of the hill most nights as it was vastly better. I complained one evening that my pork was overdone… it was almost inedible but was told that’s how it was supposed to taste. Pretty disappointing reaction to a guests complaint.

Breakfast and dinner buffet was fine as long as we went early in the evening. Staff were friendly.

Service was very slow. We were a family of 5 and reserved 2 bedrooms, one was allocated on the 6th room and the other on the 2nd floor. So disappointed with the poor organisation! Other restaurants were always fully booked for dinner...we could have been informed beforehand.

The rooms are lacking isolation of noise. Unfortunately, I couldn’t sleep and rest well. We had to call back and forth until we got an answer from the staff, and moved to another room, which was noisy as well.
