Wonderful stay in comfortable clean hotel with great reception and easy access from train to beach.

The Villa had an excellent breakfast, fresh fried or scrambled real eggs, bacon that smelled wonderful as soon as you left your room. Great bread and croissants filled with cream or jelly or Nutella…a coffee machine operated by the hotel offering any kind of coffee you wished. Cookies, cake, pastries, ham, cheese and fresh cut fruit or whole apples, oranges or pears….all served with a smile on fresh table settings. I would recommend the Villa to anyone wanting to visit Cinque Terre. The hotel also had painted tables and tiles throughout with a sea motif…like happy little greeting wherever you looked. It was fun! It was also on the first row of hotels from the ocean and not up piles and piles of steps!! Many hotels and apartments in Cinque Terre are built into the hillsides, Monterosso is mostly flat and easy walking especially for senior visitors. It also has a beach directly in front along with a playground where we heard kids having fun in the sun. Great place to stay.

In Italy a king bed is usually two singles…so there is a seam down the middle.

Best coffee in Monterosso - all of the staff are so lovely and welcoming. This is our second stay here and we would absolutely choose it again and again. Brilliant location as well.

Good location to stay in if you want to explore, close to the station.

Great location in the new side, easy to get to the train station. Room was small but just what I needed. Bathroom was a good size and had products available. Both staff I met on reception were great and very helpful.

Just some minor issues, the towel rail in our bathroom WSL running ice cold and dripping, and the bed had no spring but. Soft topper. This made it difficult to change position. This may be a personal preference but neither my wife nor I had a good night.

Posizione ottimale, sul mare e dalla quale è possibile raggiungere tutti i punti di interesse di Monterosso facilmente a piedi. Vicinanza a parcheggi e stazione ferroviaria. Personale gentile e disponibile.

L'hotel in sé è carino e tenuto bene ma il prezzo è eccessivo. Noi abbiamo prenotato grazie a un'offerta di booking e abbiamo pagato poco meno di €200 per una stanza e una struttura più che accettabili ma che altrove non avremmo pagato più di €70. Mi riferisco al prezzo per notte.

Excellent stay, great location, brilliant staff!

Hospitality of the staff was excellent!! From the check-in, through breakfast service until the check out! I felt very welcome 🙂 Location is very convenient too. Close to the train station, grocery store and few restaurants. And just next to the beach. Breakfast had many options to choose from and they can make the eggs the way you like!

Stanza piccola, letto piccolo non di certo a due piazze . Non si riusciva a riposare molto rumorosa. Rapporto prezzo qualità pessimo. La titolare ha sostenuto che quelli non sono i loro prezzi ma prezzi applicati da booking che chiede il doppio. La loro tariffa sarebbe la metà di 308 € quanto da noi pagato per riposare una notte! Per la colazione c’era pochissima scelta e cornetti contati. Prima di partire siamo andati nel bagno dell’hotel ed era sporchissimo !

This Hotel needs

The staff was always helpful, friendly, and sweet. The hotel and room were cleaned. The location was better for families with kids because had a kid's park in front of it and a large parking lot. But for adults with no kids, the noise level was loud. We liked a beach on the right side, away from the hotel, at the same time, just a few minutes walk. It had a good vibe, the statue was amazing, and the restaurant was nice.

The size of the room was smaller than expected; the mattress was slanted on my side, I had to place the three decorative pillows under to level it up so, I did not slide down the mattress. The balcony had a small view of the ocean, most of the view was the trees in front. And the upper deck was a total disappointment! In the pictures, it revealed a happening point, with people having a relaxing and fun time drinking and socializing, but in reality, the deck had nothing: no life, no bar, no people, a few furniture, and nothing appealing, or inviting.

Concernant le petit déjeuner, à 9h, il n’y avait plus de choix dans les bacs. Jus de fruit de premier prix dans une bouteille plastique

La chambre, très chère pour ce qu’elle est (plus de 200€ pour une nuit, on s’attendait à autre chose) La cabine de douche en mauvais état. La salle de bain étroite. Très peu d’emplacement pour ranger, chambre étroite. Prestation laborieuse pour le prix, très mauvais rapport qualité / prix.

Very bad value for money!

Good Breakfast, nice rooftop terrasse with self-service tea and coffee bar. Good distance to the beach.

Room was way to small for two people! You could see it used to be a single room and they put two people in it! The shower was broken and soaked the whole bathroom! There was no fridge in the room and the back door was open the whole night which felt very strange. Had its best time in the early 2000’ , breakfast area was quite small especially with a big group sitting in front of the Buffet.

Loved our stay in Monterosso. It's definitely quieter than the "old town" section but just a 10 minute walk. The train station was so convenient-probably just a 3 minute walk!

Relaxing stay, great location.

Superb location on boardwalk in Monterosso. Room had a balcony with chairs facing the sea and boardwalk...spent many wonderful hours there. Make sure you book a sea-view room, as not all rooms have this feature. Only ten rooms in total.

The location was great for going to the beach and the train station. It was a bit busy because of it's location but it was very convenient for everything we needed.

It was a busy area. The air conditioner was either very cold or off. We asked to have it looked at but it never was fixed. We made do, turning it on when it got too hot and then just turning it off. At least there was air conditioning because we found that is something you can't always count on when traveling in Europe.

Would not recommend this to anyone

Terrible property and customer service. There was no running water when we woke up in the morning and when we called the emergency number they told us there was a water strike and the mayor shut down the water which was a load of BS as the water came back on in 30 mins

No tea or coffee available before breakfast at 8.30 am. Room was not clean and staff not really friendly or helpful
