Beautiful property in stunning grounds. Perfect for a family gathering.

Loved everything about this property, so much so that we’ve booked to go back next Christmas. So many nice touches from the hosts, especially the homemade shortbread they left for us ( It was delicious😀) The grounds and views are quite stunning and the interiors are so beautifully and tastefully decorated. The kitchen is fully equipped and is the real cosy heart of the house. 2 large sitting rooms make it ideal for adults and children and the dining room gives a real aura of grandeur. But my favourite room was the wee playroom above the kitchen, my 5 year old grandson was just enthralled by it and we were treated to numerous puppet shows (equipment provided by the hosts) Can’t recommend this property highly enough.

Beautiful views, plenty of garden space, peace and quiet, even had wildlife in the garden. Had everything provided (tea towels, towels, and even a welcome gift)

Lovely cottage close to Forfar and its' facilities. Very hospitable and helpful hosts.

Lovely house a few minutes drive outside Forfar but near enough the large supermarkets and individual shops to provision for the stay. The house has a lovely big dining table which was perfect for entertaining friends and family over the New Year period. The house was wonderfully festive with Christmas decorations. There was enough cutlery, plates and glasses to host 12 guests at the dining table and the kitchen was well set up to cook for dinner parties. There are beautiful views from many of the windows out towards the hills and the garden. The cottage is well located to get around Angus and Aberdeenshire; just being a short distance from the A90 The hosts were very welcoming and were able to help with our questions and also delivered homemade shortbread on Hogmany, which was very kind.

It was a little dark getting to the front door but the hosts said they are waiting for an electrician to correct the outside light sensor. One of our party found the middle bedroom double bed a little uncomfortable, but the rest were fine. The ensuite and the family bathroom are both on the ground floor and as one of our party had mobility problems that meant he had to use the double room on the ground floor, so just something to be aware of.

Loved the house and the location was perfect. Although big it felt like home and we all relaxed straight away, The owner and their family wee great, we made to feel.very welcome. Loved the useful bits and bobs left,, much more practical than the usual bottle of wine that none of us drink. Deer in the garden whilst doing dishes....definite bonus as I hate dishes, view was superb. Very relaxing but plenty to keep us busy if that's what we wanted.

Could do with a little TLC, nothing major, just the fixing of some wear and tear

A great base from which to enjoy the Forfar area.

Plenty of space inside and outside. Quiet and tranquil location. A generous welcome box. Lovely views across the fields.

Although it is a lovely dwelling, the property did not feel like it was set up to be a holiday let. The freezer was broken, the twin room did not have bedside tables, nearly all the crockery was chipped, the washing up sponge was not new, some kitchen cupboards were unclean and various bulbs needed replaced.

Really enjoyed our stay.

The farm house was quiet, spacious with plenty of room for 9 of us including two children. Very good for our dog, Diesel - lots of garden space and well away from the main road. Well equipped kitchen. Just 5 mins drive from the centre of Forfar.

Another shower would have made things a lot easier

Everything was perfect, large garden for the kids to play . Perfect for the family who’s looking for peaceful place. I will go back again!
