Modern and large apartment which met our needs for our family of 6.

Large apartment. Good heating system. Plenty of hot water available. Full range of appliances which all functioned. Free secure undercover parking garage. Quick reponses from the management during our stay.

Location not ideal - takes 20 minutes to drive to Edinburgh center.

Disappointing experience at Stylish Penthouse Suite

location was good, close to local buses to get into centre, everything else about the apartment was below expectations for this price range

The Stylish Penthouse Suite is in need of a good clean, the carpets had stains, the bedding also displayed stains, the bathrooms needed a good paint and refresh, overall the property felt tired and in need of some TLC.

Super comfortable. Plenty of room. Host very timely and had everything needed for our stay

Not as close to city centre as I would have e liked but it gave us a chance to ride the bus to the royal mile and see other parts of Edinburgh

Great location, great views and lovely local restaurants . Very spacious had everything we needed

Everything was great though we thought the seating in the lounge was quite low and not easy to get back up from , especially if you were older or not very agile but that’s just a personal preference

Nice big apartment needing a deep clean and repairs before we would consider coming back

Beautiful big apartment. Light and sunny. Lots of beds. Nice area. Free parking. Really great host and lovely welcome with great advice about the area. Public transport close by.

It was so dirty. Mould in the bathroom ++++ and the washing machine needed a massive scrub as the washing smelled worse after being washed! Heater was ripped off the wall and not repaired. No towel rails (again not replaced after obvious damage). Most light bulbs didn’t work. Generally way below acceptable standard. Needs a deep clean and some major repairs. Was such a shame as the apartment bones were great!

If emergency contact had shown up would have been excellent stay

Clean, reasonably equipped (no teapot)

We had access problems at 11.15pm as the fob to access building had no battery. No reply from emergency contact so eventually we hit on idea of buying batteries from a mercifully open supermarket. 45 minutes after first phone call we managed to gain access. We were frozen! Need more towels. No hand towel provided

Spacious flat in good location. Needs refurbishing.

Good location, just outside the centre but there is a bus stop 2minutes away with frequent buses which takes only 15minutes to centre. Beautiful area and views. Spacious apartment. Very friendly staff. Ample parking spaces.

Flat needs major refurbishment, broken shower and floors. Not all heaters were working.

Easy to catch a bus into Edinburgh.

The floor was very noisy to walk on and the doors were also noisy. Some furniture needs updating. Ensuite had cracked tiles on the floor.

Spacious stay in Leith

Spacious- 3 generous bedrooms, master with ensuite. Quiet building with lift. Great value for money. Host met us at the unit and was very friendly and welcoming. Enough crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils supplied in the kitchen. Cleaning supplies also supplied. Beds and lounge were comfortable. Strong fast wifi. Effective heating. Washer/dryer that works well. Close to bus stop for number 11 bus, which takes you to Princes Street. Would definitely stay again.

Spaces on the tired side, loose tiles in ensuite, no exhaust fans in bathrooms.

Good value for money close to Edinburgh for families and groups.

Slightly out of the way at Newhaven but it's only a mile to Leith so no real issue and bus stop was near to go to Leith or into Edinburgh. Asda was 800 yards away which was great as the flat is self catering. Flat is large with 3 bedrooms and one room has bunk beds so excellent for younger families or family reunions etc. Plenty of utensils and plates etc as well as dishwasher.

Could do with a little bit of TLC such as the loose floor tiles in en-suite, grouting where drill holes were and general bits of wear and tear that you would expect with a holiday let - nothing major.

Spacious modern apartment in a nice location

Lovely location near the coast. We knew it was not city centre but didn’t mind as we had a car. Very spacious apartment and very secure with free parking included. Hosts were very friendly and communication was good. Bedrooms were all a good size and the apartment was clean and well equipped.

The apartment was lovely but could do with a bit of maintenance. Some of the room doors were sticking and wouldn’t shut properly and some of the bathroom tiles were cracked. The apartment was clean but there was mould in the washing machine and the silicone in the shower needs replacing.

The views..and a good hours walk into Edinburgh but bus stop straight outside and runs every 20mins into Edinburgh..and only 1 tray for cooker and nothing to put under the grill but again nothing really that is an issue

Good location restaurants and shops close by. No 10 bus runs regularly taking you into town. Spacious apartment with everything you need if you want to cook during your stay. Friendly host met us with the keys.

Very spacious, light, airy and clean apartment in good location. Friendly host. Well equipped kitchen. Beds were super comfy with quality bed linen. Free, safe underground car parking.

Just maintenance issues - towel heater not working in bathroom. Plug for bath needs replacing as it doesn’t hold water in. Bulb replacement for floor lamp in lounge.
