Location-wise, it's hard to beat. Views from the living room over the roofs of bustling George Street & you can have a stool on the little balcony & people watch with your morning coffee (or nip across the road & have someone make you one!). You can't see the sea, but you're a minute walk away from the seafront. The decor & facilities are clean & modern. Comfy bed & despite visiting during a heat wave, the temperature was ideal for me the whole time. There's a soft breeze on the coast, so no need for air-con to feel warm but fresh. I'd 100% stay at this property again. It always helps when you've been fortunate to travel on one of the most gorgeous weeks of the year, but despite it being a heat wave, Hastings seafront has a constant gentle breeze that makes wandering along it very pleasant. Plenty of cute cafes, bars & pubs to stop for refreshments. Most mornings, I'd walk from the Old Town to West St. Leonards, just soaking up the warmth & atmosphere. The beaches were busy, but not packed like sardines. I'm not one for just sitting on the beach for long, so having stops like the Goat Ledge & the two cafe/bars in Bottle Alley gave me somewhere to chill along the way (& grab a half of beer). The beach walk to Fairlight, & back along the Fire Hills is utterly stunning, but as the signs warn, there are dangers involved. You need to have good cross-country mobility, check the high & low tide times, take plenty of water & appropriate clothing & accept the slight risk that tons of boulders could fall on you from the cliffs. Best to travel with a friend & be aware you're somewhat at nature's mercy! Don't take granny or small children that route!! If you accept the risks & are confident, it's one of my favourite walks in the world.
Very minor comments here! I'd add the flat numbers to the lock boxes. I wasn't aware there were three flats (mine was flat 2), so knowing which lock box was a slight puzzle, but solved easily enough. There is a paid car park nearby on the seafront, but I parked up on the West Hill. For those with less mobility, you're probably paying £13.50 per day (24hrs). Not a fault with the property, just something to factor in. If you're tight with cash & don't mind hills, you can save a bit by walking, especially if you're not using the car every day.

The property was very clean and bright, and in the absolute perfect location. Although on a busy street, there wasn’t a lot of noise at night as the bedroom is at the back, and we stayed on a Friday and Saturday night. Perfect for what we needed it for!
The upstairs neighbours were incredibly noisy, making loud banging noises until 4am one night which made it quite difficult to sleep.

Very convenient in the Old Town. Although it was in the hub of eateries, it was very quiet for sleeping with the bedroom at the back. Very comfortable and clean. It had everything you needed . We had the best fish and chips at Maggies restaurant, also highly recommended.
