Location absolutely excellent - across the road form the car park and beach. Flat was a spacious period property with high ceilings which seemed to have been redecorated recently. Flat was well equipped and worked well for a family break. Paid parking easily available opposite the property. Very good value for money.
Whilst the flat was clean and freshly decorated, there was a slight smoke odour. Some of my devices struggled to connect to the Wifi but it seemed a new router was just about to be installed.

The location was excellent - right by the old part of town - near one off cafes and restaurants. It was clean and bright. The contact name and number provided by the owner was invaluable because the key lock numbered for the flat didn't work. She kindly advised it was the other key lock I needed and two hands were needed to pull the lever and the cover at the same time! Lovely to have space to relax. A sea view as promised.
The larger bedroom had no wardrobe or chest of drawers. The smaller bedroom had a walk in wardrobe (with plenty of hangers) but no chest of drawers. The kitchen sink didn't have a plug or a bowl. The lounge area didn't have any reading lamps. The bathroom didn't have a non slip mat for the bath or a grab rail. The windows were dirty.

We couldn't get in, the key wouldn't turn. I asked a random passer by if he could turn it. He couldn't. He VERY kindly said he'd get oil from his van. The housekeeper, whom I had called ten minutes previous, arrive bed and wiggled the key. My daughter has a 5 week old baby and was distraught in the wind and rain. The Random Man arrived with WD40? and fixed the lick
Lack of care, not anything useful in the kitchen, no storage in both bedrooms, one did have a wardrobe the other absolutely nothing. The curtains hanging off the rail, filthy windows so no chance of a clear sea view. There was banging and drilling in the Basement Flat from 9am until 4 workmen fitting floors etc?? We weren't told this was going in during our stay, since we stated 1 child and asked for a cot???????
