Beautiful views, a very warm welcome and a really comfortable, well-appointed, pleasant place to stay with lots of room.

Just the steps to climb from town! However, we found it easy to park our car for free just round the corner from the flat

The property was absolutely gorgeous and close 5 mins walk to the old town,the view of the terrace incredible with the sunset, and Liz was very helpful and friendly and i have met his lovely brothers overall everything made my stay outstanding will come back again definitely.

The location was great

Not everything was clean. The handle on the bathroom faucet was broken the remaining part had some sharp edges.

Location is fantastic, views from the property are absolutely beautiful, Lez the owner who lives upstairs is lovely and you are greeted by him on arrival.

Unfortunately what pulls the whole score down for this property is simply down to hygiene & maintenance. Bless Lez but it’s clear he cleans it himself and maintains it himself and he just isn’t able to keep it up to a standard you’d expect from a rental. The hot water didn’t initially work but Lez was contactable and able to fix it. There’s a bathroom tap that is broken and a window pain that is taped up and it’s clearly been like that for a good while and the fire extinguisher is many years out of date & rusted. There’s a fair bit of dust and odd items of clutter that don’t need to be in the house, the toilet smells faintly of pee, shower hair from previous guests stuck to the wall. If I could offer a bit of advice for Lez, I’d simply get a cleaner in once a month for a deep clean, remove the unnecessary items in the house as they only add to the cleaning task (the random snooker cue stick, the many extra tea cups, the weird sticky cube that collects hair on the mantle piece, the obsolete CD player unit, items in the bathroom drawers like old nappy cream and clear the patio of clutter & broken wood etc and clear the kitchen of dusty old out of date products.
