The property was a beautiful. Very well equipped, clean and comfortable. It was very central to everything in York. (Particularly liked the nice touch of leaving dressing gowns and slippers!)
I don’t think there was anything we disliked. It was just perfect for us.

So amazing! We called it the castle even though it’s an ancient water tower- beautiful view of the river- bedrooms were freaking amazing! Beautifully appointed rooms, I loved the huge clawfoot tub in my room. Living area was cozy with leather furniture- modern kitchen. This was by far one of the most amazing properties I’ve stayed in. Close to everything in York central. Management was very responsive and patient with all my questions.
Tower was a tiny bit confusing to find- but the owners had very good instructions.

The property was even more beautiful than the photos. Prime location and everything was very clean. We appreciated we could access the property a little earlier than check in
The stairs are exceptionally creaky, however that is to be expected with the wooden spiral stairs

The most magical place to stay in York, and the only place to stay at New Year. The Minster is visible from the roof terrace, along with citywide panoramic firework displays at midnight. Truly magical. It’s warm and cosy and the historical character features are insane, all whilst still providing all modern facilities and excellent WiFi.
