Very enjoyable experience and we have booked up for our 5th year already for December 2026

This was our 4th visit to the apartment with our grown up children for our annual weekend away before Christmas. The apartment is ideal for our needs, clean and warm with all the amenities you would need.

The apartment could do with a hairdryer and the bathrooms being modernised, The Main bathroom has a very creaky floor, very old toilet which requires some force to flush and the taps and very squashed against the sink. Instructions on how to use the oven would also be helpful. The guest Wifi did not work for the whole weekend.

Great place from which to tour the surrounding area. Good facilities. Pool and sauna area was very good

Superb and would definitely be looking at booking to stay again if we came upto Dunkeld

The location was incredible We were there for a mountain biking trip and you just rode from the front door and more or less up to the trails. The building is absolutely stunning The Wallace apartment is absolutely unreal for a group of mates to stay and all the staff that are associated with accommodation and it’s restaurant and bar were so friendly and helpful.

Apartment very tired. Food in the restaurant was over priced for what it was - frozen food I think. I had the steak pie and it was full of gristle

Was disappointed to get a leak in one of the bedrooms through the night whereby i was abruptly woken with drips on my face and had to move my belongings as they had started to be caught in the leak. Also one of the other bedrooms has a very noisy pipes through the night. Reported both issues to the owners but have yet to receive any response.

We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the Wallace apartment and our walks in the surrounging area.

The location was excellent. We had breakfast in the apartment as we were there on weekdays

It would have been helpful to have a shower mat in each bathroom for safety reasons. The lounge area in the apartment was comfortable and spacious. A coffee table or nest of tables would have improved things - -i.e. somewhere to put down a cup of coffee or glass of wine.

An outstanding apartment, great for families, super clean & well equipped

The apartment was outstanding, the photos did not do it justice. Well decorated, super warm & exceptionally clean & big enough to give 5 adults & 3 kids ample space., kitchen was so well equipped & sat all 8 of us comfortably. The traditional features like fireplaces and bathroom wares were lovely. Staff were amazing, couldn't do enough for us. A beautiful building in a stunning area. It was indeed unique, the family loved it. Kids loved all the wee hidey-holes in the apartment & were delighted with swimming pool. The staff are a real credit to the owners. Visited the Enchanted Forest nr Pitlochry, was indeed enchanting. Highly recommended for the accommodation and the event.

Exceptional

Location was stunning. Dunkeld is a lovely little village with bars and shops. It was a 15 minute leisurely walk into town. The room is located in the main house and is spacious, clean and has a seperate kitchen and living room. It can easily house a family of 6-7 people with two double bedrooms (one with a single bed in the room as well) plus a twin room. A shower room and main bathroom. The food is fine (burger chips / fish chips etc.) and a good bar. A pool table, table tennis table and swimming pool keep you active and plenty of nice walks around the site. Train station a 20 minute walk should you wish to venture into Perth / Stirling / Edinburgh.

The drainage in the showers is quite poor meaning you are standing in an inch or more of water all the time.

Spacious and grand countryside apartment with everything we needed, convenient to town.

This was an amazing very private property. Very convenient to the town of Dunkeld also, which has several good eateries, shops and we adored the cute little Beatrix Potter Garden. The staff, Lynn, that met us at the reception was very helpful and even followed up with us to make sure we were doing well before closing the office for the day. The surrounding countryside was absolutely gorgeous and there was a nice walking trail starting near the property. I would highly recommend this property to anyone, and will return if I am in the area again!

Not a thing! The property was very comfortable, and the gourmet kitchen wonderful. We’re able to cook a meal there, and the kitchen nicely accommodated our group of 5 for dining. There was a small self-serve laundry on the property open until 5 pm for those on longer trips and needing to wash.

Location! accommodation! scenery! decor! Staff! The building and rooms were all brilliant! lovely big kitchen and comfy beds with beautiful sitting room! just what we needed to enjoy a night away with friends and family!

Breakfast not served until 11.00 (Sunday) but check out time was 10.00 so ended up leaving to find somewhere else to have breakfast. ( no iron in description of items available so took own and in the cupboard was an iron! )
