Kennacoil

The holiday one bedroom apartment exceeded our expectation. The view from the living room across the valley was outstanding especially with the early morning mist. The hosts were very friendly and we had many a conversation about the area and the house they lived in which was handed down from family. Everything was provided for in the apartment and the furniture and beds were very comfortable. There was also a full size bath which you don't see very often, with a shower over. Our host even took us to the train station when our taxi couldn't make it - so very kind.

Nothing

The staff were so warm and welcoming. Gemma very kindly left us some teabags and milk for the morning as I hadn't quite prepared myself properly to make our own food in the little communal kitchen. She was a perfect host. Gorgeous place and I'd love to come back with the kids and stay a bit longer in the bigger pod.

Although the pod was well laid out, we were two adults staying in a 'family' pod, apparently suitable for up to five. I suppose it's worth remembering that that's equivalent to a five man, one room tent. As it was, we used the mats and made a super king bed on the floor and brought our own bedding. We're both tall and had just enough space to stand and shuffle around the bed. It was comfier than a night in a tent but still very much sleeping on the hard floor.

it was in a beautiful setting, in the middle of nowhere, so peaceful and kinda cozy. we were able to also light up a fire, thanks to the host providing us with the firewood! it was lovely, very well insulated and comfortable! the facilities were also very clean, it was amazing! thanks to Gemma for being so welcoming and nice to us during the check in but also afterwards, it was a lovely experience.

Lovely , peaceful location.

The facilities were a good walk away which was difficult in the dark. I needed a torch.
