We enjoyed the location - situation high, above the valley, near a beautiful river. Its handy for Dunkeld. The accomodation was basic- a small wooden pod with 4 wipeable sleeping mats on the floor ( we had two each to lie on which was comfy enough), small heater, fan, light and that's all. Outside we had a fire bowl and picnic table. Gemma met us at reception and was very informative. The toilet facilities were clean and well set up. The utility room was also really clean and had a fridge, 2 sinks, kettle, toaster and microwave and a few basics -plates, cutlery etc, but not a lot - best bring what you need. Also, don't forget sleeping bag, pillow, towels, camping stove - foldable chairs could be handy too.

Our particular pod was tucked away in the trees so the view was restricted and it was in the shade when we arrived, whereas all the other pods were in the sun with much better views! I would go back but would request a different pod.

It was in a very peaceful location, the amenities were very good, clean and we had what we needed. Gemma was very lovely and made sure we had what we needed for our stay! We really loved sitting out by the fire, wood or coal is provided on request and small fee.

Bedding provided on request, suggest bringing your own or paying extra for some. Not many walks in the immediate area a short drive to some or to the local towns.

Very clean, beautiful location, very friendly and helpful staff, facilities were immaculate, we would definitely consider staying there again.

Mattresses could be more comfortable however the bedding provided was up to a great standard.

Gorgeous peaceful location. A beautiful walk through the hermitage into Dunkeld. Friendly and helpful hosts.
