The facilities on site were brilliant with the spa and courts and walking routes in addition to eateries and bar. The lodges meant that we were able to have a relaxed stay with our dogs. The afternoon tea we had was brilliant and the staff (a lady whose name I have forgotten, Hayley?) was excellently attentive.
We enjoyed our stay but a few recommendations.
The price of the restaurant was a little steep for 2 courses in the evening and service wasn’t as attentive as for the afternoon tea, so I wouldn’t recommend that.
I tried to access the gym a couple of times and the code didn’t work for me or someone else trying to get in … and there were no staff around to help me in.
We had to go to reception to replenish coffees, etc as no one came round the whole week. There were facilities to clean ourselves but we feel someone should have come round at least once.

Such a scenic setting, stunning grounds. The lodges are set a short walk away from the main house making them feel secluded. The lodge itself was lovely and warm, super comfy- perfect for our stay. We had dinner & afternoon tea in the main house which were absolutely delicious. The staff were friendly and helpful. Just perfect.

Fabulous accommodation, comfortable, clean and warm. Great welcome package, bread, milk, packets of biscuits, tea, coffee, sugar and the use of the hotel facilities, pool, spa etc. The surroundings were beautiful and the hotel is stunning. Thank you!

Setting was stunning. Think lodges need a bit of an upgrade .. carpeted stained and headboards in mist rooms were ripped and worn . Bulbs out in some bathrooms
That they only had a minimum of 6 plates, glasses and 3 dishwashing tablets ( we had to go to reception to ask for more. Vacuum hose wasn’t attached so didn’t work properly
