Beautiful setting. The lodge was spacious and light and I loved the Juliette balconies. Everything you could want in an apartment. I have high standards and often complain about hotel rooms. No complaints here.
Would have liked a tea towel. Everything else was provided.

Nice surroundings
Cleanliness was poor, there was a dirty handkerchief left, a toothpick left in the bedroom and crumbs behind the kettle along with packaging,peanuts left in the drawer next to the bed. Overall we found it dirty.
We only had one bath towel and one hand towel for 4 nights

Self catering in the Lodge, this was excellent, my American friends were blown away.
We couldn't open the windows and it was rather warm during our stay.

Setting was stunning. Think lodges need a bit of an upgrade .. carpeted stained and headboards in mist rooms were ripped and worn . Bulbs out in some bathrooms
That they only had a minimum of 6 plates, glasses and 3 dishwashing tablets ( we had to go to reception to ask for more. Vacuum hose wasn’t attached so didn’t work properly
