Beautiful cottage, great location, super hosts

This beautifully cosy cottage, is a perfect location for either a summer or winter break in Pitlochry. The hosts Andreas and Karen are super considerate and thoughtful. We had homemade scones and beautiful homemade biscuits. The cottage was so warm and the log fire is a wonderful “ Bush TV” as we would say in Australia. What a gem in an idyllic location, we stayed 3 nights which I had planned for more.

Very clean and comfortable with great use of space. Beds really comfortable.Host had left essential starter items in kitchen. Home made shortbread brilliant and offered home made scones for the morning.

Found parking in drive a little tricky due to angle although there’s dedicated space. A number of steps up to property which may be difficult for some

Friendly welcome to a gorgeous cottage

From the friendly welcome when we arrived (Andreas kindly helped us take our bags into the cottage), to the fresh homemade goodies (shortbread, plum jam and scones), we can't recommend our hosts enough. The cottage itself was gorgeous, with everything we needed. It's in an ideal location, far enough away from the main road through the village to be nice and quiet, but close enough to easily dander down (in less than 10 mins) to the shops, cafés and restaurants. It was great to be able to park my car in the driveway outside the cottage. Most days we were out and about in the car, exploring further afield, but one of the days we left the car 'at home' and explored Pitlochry on foot with the help of the useful maps left in the cottage. We really enjoyed our wee stay in Braeside Cottage and would happily return.

Beautiful and stylish. The smallest detail had been thought about. Homemade shortbread on arrival and warm scones and jam delivered the next day. Delicious.

The cottage was beautiful and very comfortable- it had everything that we needed and was was in a superb location. The hosts were so helpful and accommodating. I would definitely recommend and consider a return visit.

Very clean, comfortable and compact. Every thing you need to self cater. Beautiful cottage and garden area with seating, just gorgeous to sit out and listen to the birds. The planting is just beautiful. Beautifully situated and very quiet. Attention to detail is second to none. Beautiful log fire if chilly.

A very pleasant experience and would love to return

The cottage was lovely, clean and comfortable. The hosts were friendly and accessible but not intrusive. They treated us to homemade scones and put fresh flowers in the cottage .

Perhaps some extra crockery and cutlery to save having to rewash after every meal.

Complimentary home made shortbread and scones with cream and homemade jam. Well presented property, clean and tidy and comfortable. Nothing too much for host, cleared patio after heavy snowfall. Best accommodation we have experienced in over 25 years of breaks.
