Perfect and peaceful

We have just returned from a two night break and we absolutely loved the lodge we stayed in. It was immaculate with everything you need and very cosy and welcoming. The lodges are well spaced apart and very peaceful. We would love to come back sometime.

Lovely central location a few miles from Pitlochry. Looking out over open countryside without the issue of lodges being crammed in together. Modern, clean, well laid out and a good size for a couple. Good sized shower and bathroom that didn't feel like a squeezed in afterthought. Excellent communication from the owners re directions etc.

Entry to the site, southbound not too good. A9 famously bad for accidents! We came very close to being hit by the guy behind on entry the first time, after that slowed to 30moh a long way out and put our hazard lights on as well as the indicator. This however reflects on the road not our stay.

Peaceful, cosy , great location , home from home what more do you want

Lovely comfortable lodge , very clean and cosy , we had everything and more of what we needed in the lodge , lovely touch of biscuits tea / coffee and milk on arrival .

We didn’t find anything that we didn’t like other than we would have liked a wee gate at the entrance to our lovely spacious balcony just to keep our toddler grandson in but that was personal preference and didn’t effect our perfect stay

Peaceful Bliss

A beautiful comfortable little cabin, perfect for a couple that just wants to hide away from the world for a couple of days, spotlessly clean had everything we needed . So peaceful and quiet it was bliss

Tayview stay

The beds were really comfortable. It had all the amenities you need and was well equipped. Staff very pleasant and helpful.

Found the sofas a bit low. However, we're two tall people, so maybe being a wee bit unfair.

Great location but will not be returning.

Location, very easy access onto A9 to access a variety of different places to visit in close proximity. The view from the cabin and the convenience of a gas cooker. The welcome package cakes milk etc on arrival were a lovely touch.

Internet, satellite, phone signal very poor so quite frustrating at times especially when you are watching a program or movie and there is no dvd player available. Heating and hot water on a timer so cold at times and no hot water. No washing machine or facilities on sight. Drainage issues lead to the shower water coming into the lounge as both toilets are in the lounge as it’s open plan. Beds were not comfortable. The group sadly was glad to go home.

Truly delightful.

Beautifully appointed lodge and spotlessly clean.

Some of the fittings were so new, we had a little difficulty in turning them on. However we are elderly and Ross was very able and most helpful when we needed him.

Family stay at Tayview Lodges

We (8 of us) were attending a family wedding in Dunkeld. Tayview Lodges was an ideal place to stay. The lodges were all very comfortable and well equipped and the setting was lovely. Given that we had glorious weather we could all sit out on the decking of one of the lodges and have a wonderful family evening. The owners, Georgina and Ross, were very helpful in advance and provided us with all the information we required, to make our stay memorable
