    I have stayed at Dalmunzie castle several times. The food, the staff, location and ambience are wonderful - however my room is definitely in need of some TLC

    I’ve never had to write a review like this before. We arrived and felt the staff were very immature and lacked professionalism. At check in, the front desk rep laughed because she wasn’t sure where our room was and said to give it a go and let us know if you can’t locate your room. We were not told we needed to book time slots for dinner and breakfast. When we asked to have dinner, we were told we would be eating in the sitting area on a coffee table. The group we were with, the server forgot to put their order in. It was a 2 meal order and only 1 was given to the chef. On top of it all, when we went to our room, there was a bat flying around. Made for a great video however, very disturbing nonetheless. Not a location I would recommend for the price point. Keep driving past.

    the hotel itself is kind of old so dont expect modern luxery, but super charming We stayed in the quad bedroom, lots of space our group of 4 adults Breakfast was yummy
