Great little cottage in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales.

The helpful communications and information. The cottage has everything you need and is in a great peaceful location with pubs, restaurants and shops nearby. The cottage is located in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales with lots of hiking trails and beautiful scenery.

great place for two on a walking holiday any time

thick stone walls kept it cool in the heat, but would also be warm in winter (nice log burner and central heating) very comprehensively equipped and detailed instructions nice thick towels, loads of books, games and DVDs for when the weather takes a downturn. very comfy bed, comfy sofas, attractive village with easy access to lots of visitor attractions.

too many technicolour photos parking tricky if you had a big car complicated threshold with narrow step up and down to negotiate, awkward with big feet

Lovely cosy cottage in the Dales with a very comfortable bed

Lovely cottage in the Dales, we had a very comfortable stay here and loved how cosy it was. Great location only 5 mins drive from Settle town centre. Really comfortable bed! Free parking just down the road (not a guaranteed space but we never had any problems finding anywhere to park). Helpful information provided by the cottage owners.

Perfectly located for the town with its train station, shops, cafes, and pubs with friendly beer gardens. Or head out the other way and you can stride out onto a walk directly.

The cottage was exactly what we needed. In an excellent location for the walks we had planned and within distance of Settle.

Return to Yorkshire

Cosy cottage with more than we would ever need. In the centre of hamlet so we got chance to meet locals. Lots of info too , enjoyed our walks rather than treks all starting from the cottage. Ie car stayed parked an we walked. Great tip re stroll down to settle on old track.
