Only thing that was a bit of an issue was the narrow lane leading up to the property. There was almost an accident with a car going too fast the other way on the blind bend. Access road very bumpy/potholes. This is maybe what you get out in the sticks. This is no reflection on the property itself.

Very nice but could have been better

Location, nice and quiet

No communication as to how to get into property or check out, bath tub dirty with somebody else’s hair and bed held up with pieces of wood so didn’t collapse. Bin wasn’t emptied either and dirty oven.

Perfect place to unwind

Every thing needed for a weekend away with the dogs , fully equipped kitchen , comfy bed , welcome basket was a lovely touch and towels provided plus if you forget to take anything Lidl is a 7 min drive down the road

The downstairs tv wasn’t working but contacted the vendor and he offered us a free night the next time we booked for our inconvenience as there was an electrical issue with the tv and was waiting on the electrician

Lovely two night stay

Great location for exploring the area. Fabulous cottage with everything we needed for a couple of nights stay with our dogs. Fully enclosed garden. Comfy bed. Fantastic welcome hamper when we arrived.

We’ve enjoyed our stay in the end despite horrible beginning

Location and facilities

There was nobody to let us into the property when we’ve arrived - we had to get in ourselves as it was getting dark and in the middle of nowhere, it turned out the cottage was not locked. No instructions were provided. There was a black mould on the bathroom sticky mat which I had to remove from the property. Rubbish bin wasn’t emptied from the previous guests.

Beautiful

It was a lovely and peaceful location but right in the middle of all the activities. The host was so kind. The garden was a great addition for our dog. The single track lane to the cottage was only short, so previous comments about this are not to be concerned about.

We had a lovely stay in this beautiful little cottage. It was perfect for what we were looking for as we were in the area for a Wedding. Spacious, a lovely welcome basket of treats, a comfortable bed and lovely and quiet. A fantastic find!

Wonderful one bed cottage furnished to a high standard. Everything you could need for a self catering stay. Supermarket is very close and a great base for trips out to explore. The hosts were very thoughtful and helpful. We had a hamper of treats to greet us and the heating was put on so it was warm when we arrived on a cold afternoon.

Mooie, rustige plek in de prachtige Wye vallei

Met hond is de afgesloten tuin fantastisch. Mooi wandelen ook in de buurt. Uitzicht van terras geweldig. Huisje is van alle gemakken voorzien, uitmuntende douche. Centraal gelegen in de Wye vallei

Alles was top! Tip: een droogrekje voor de was. Note: wij hadden geen buren maar als het aangrenzende zespersoons vakantiehuis verhuurd was geweest, hadden we misschien een andere beleving gehad. Ondanks dat een superplek.
