Very comfortable cottage. Our second visit as the location suits us while our family our camping close by.
Very little to say as the cottage is very comfortable. Maybe the garden could be maintained better.

We liked the quietness of the location. It was a good base for various locations.
The driveway was extremely narrow and the wall did significant damage to the side of my car. Although we understand the cottage has a lot of it's original features, the stairs are extremely steep and narrow. There was also an inside pond in the middle of the garden that we weren't aware of, I would suggest that a sign was placed there due to the risk of water building up in there.

The cottage had everything we needed and were able to sit under the sweet chestnut tree for meals to keep cool during the hottest weather ever
Directions to the cottage said next to old antique shop which now is no longer trading but it was very close to the pub and definitely wants approaching from Monmouth as the entrance very narrow with stone wall on left
