The host was great and surroundings was gorgeous.

Elena was very friendly and nice. She tried to keep the place clean and organized. It is close to Konigssee about 25 mins by foot. Breakfast was included as we couldn't store or prepare anything but we had some foods needing refridged since the temperature was low, Elena advised us to put food in the patio to keep it cold.

There is no kettle to boil hot water to enjoy a cup of tea in the evening and have a cup of warm water in the morning. The place requires to pay cash only but the information was easily to miss if you did not look into confirmation details under pricing information.

Great location but not a comfortable room

Beautiful setting, quiet, walking distance to Koningsee. A few very good restaurants nearby. The lady at reception was very friendly and kind.

The bed linens and pillows did not smell fresh. There were few power outlets. Limited seating in the family room

It was nice but we really did not like the smoke coming in our room.

The location was great, however the room was pretty small and had no refrigerator or coffee maker. This was a bummer, as we had food in a cooler that needed refrigeration. The owner was kind enough to let us keep it in her downstairs 'extra' refrigerator, but we had to go up & downstairs a lot. Our host was very nice. We had a small deck off the room with a great view.

There was no coffee maker in the room. This was very inconvenient as we had to get dressed early to go downstairs to get coffee in the morning to bring back up to our room to drink as we got ourselves together in the morning. Also, we like our windows open at night & there were smokers two doors down & their smoke drifted into our room a lot, making our room smell terrible. We had to close the windows which made it very hot inside at night. Too hot... and no fan.

Elena the owner was wonderful and very helpful and cheerful! The view from our room of her garden and the mountains was superb!

Very nice stay in Alpenpension Bergidyll

Nice, clean room with view to the mountains from the balcony. There was no problem to park the car in front of the building. Owner is very nice. Breakfasts were fresh and tasty. Localization is also nice, 10 min by walk to the lake.

Traditional Alp guest house with very nice host lady.

The host was so kind and even in the mornings she remembered our coffee order. It is a 20-25min walk to the Königssee and from the property you have nice views!

Lovely accommodation in a beautiful setting

Delightful family run guest house, set in a very quiet suburban street. The location was good, an easy drive to The Eagles Nest, Berchtesgaden and Lake Konigssee. Our room had a balcony and the view to the back of the property over the pasture land and the mountains was beautiful. Our hostess was delightful. The beds comfortable, and breakfast adequate for our needs. There is parking onsite and we were able to walk a few blocks to a pizzeria for dinner.

Only down side was WIFI only available in the dining room on the ground floor, not in rooms, but that wasn't a problem.

Great location, within walking distance of Konigsee and close to Berchtesgaden.

The owner was very kind. Breakfast was very good with wonderful fresh bread and rolls. There was a great game room and self-service bar. The gardens were beautiful, and the house was very quaint. Dogs are welcomed there.

We were on the top floor, and the rooms were very warm during the day. We could open the windows in the evening, and the air was very cool, so the room was comfortable for sleeping. We didn't spend much time in the room during the day which was good because it was quite hot. A fan may have helped cool it down. Additionally, the room only had a tub, not a shower.

Nice location if you want to visit Königsee but the place is noisy & with outdated equipments.

The room is quite comfortable and cozy. You can walk 20 min to Königssee. The best part is Elena’s breakfast, which has great coffee and homemade bread.

No WI-FI, but we can all survive.

Convenient stay near Königssee

Great location at walking distance to the Königssee. Simple but adequate breakfast with nice fresh bread. The room is clean, but is from another era, like the 80’s Great view from the balcony.

No standing shower, only a handheld in the bathtub. Leaking bathroom window and very poor down pillows.

It is a traditional guest house with nice decoration, about 5-10 minutes drive from Konigssee.The room was basic but clean and warm,with a nice balcony and free parking space.Breakfast had few choices of food but the service was very good.Payment was only in cash.

We enjoyed our 2-night stay here. The view is beautiful and the room is spacious. Rich breakfast with lots of options.

Amazing location, very friendly administration and other personnel, view from the balcony worth to stay there. Love the interior of the pension and room, all small details and decoration - very cozy.

Very nice and friendly hostess. The location is great - quite far from the tourist crowds and at the same time close to the lake & everything can be reached on foot. Wonderful view from the balcony - village & mountains.

Generally, only cash payment, but we solved this by paying via bank transfer. No Internet in the rooms, only downstairs in the lobby area.
