Friendly and welcoming, in a nice area.

Great location, very friendly and helpful host. Late arrival was accommodated beautifully, got many tips for sightseeing and trips in the area from the host. Very welcoming, relaxed atmosphere and nice facilities, many things to see and do in vicinity.

The perfect German alps location, lodging, and hosts!

The location was amazing! The pension is so cozy and lovely. The owners are the nicest, most helpful, and wonderful people. They covered all the little details especially at breakfast and the 24/7 coffee and tea. The guest card for free transit around town was a big help too.

Really nice people but less than optimal rooms

Fast answers to questions. Very nice staff. Even after checkout we were allowed to let our car park there. Our additional wishes like an early checkout were all being taken care of. Amazing location when going to Watzmann.

The bathroom smelled like chlorine and mold. The bathroom was very humid and so was the entire room. Even the towels had that wet smell. The mattress is done and should have been exchanged.

One of my best stays in Germany

Very nice hotel near Konigsee. The staff was one of the most friendly and welcoming I have seen. Excellent breakfast included, there was free coffee and tee (and water) 24/7. There was lots of parking space outside. Also, there is a nice waterfall very close to the hotel, by the river, which you can hear and it is very calming.

Book Bergbach!!

Bergbach was a surprise treat after a long drive. The property offers amazing views of Watzmann Mountain and the hospitality of the hosts were exceptional! They have a wonderful sauna that you can rent for a nominal fee (take advantage of it!) there is a fridge with beer and wine. Free coffee/tea bar. And the breakfast is wonderful! So much to like about this charming place.

Nothing. It was all great! I would only suggest a small cabinet between the shower and sink for guests to lay out toiletries Other than that, the place was everything we needed. 😊

Breakfast time should be extended for another hour to reduce crowding. Noisy TV in breakfast room. No coffee available due to machine malfunction in the 24 hour Tea/Coffee area No view whatsoever from the room. No central heating but plug-in heater in the room.

The location is good, right in front of the bus station. The room is clean and tidy, and the view from the window is super. The breakfast is rich in variety and the owner of the hotel is friendly.

It would be even better if there are disposable toothbrushes and toothpaste provided. There are two towels that are a little old, it is recommended to replace them.

Everything was perfect! The owner really takes care of his guests and makes sure they are happy of the stay. The pension is located close to all trails so it is perfect for hikers. Thank you!
