Very basic, quite rustic, not super comfortable, but good location.

Location is good - 5 minute walk (totally flat)from Hotel Croatia and 4 minute walk (via steep hill) to the village centre with all the restaurants, bars and waterfront. I liked the location. The bed was firm and fairly comfortable. Beds seemed clean. Aircon was effective.

The place is more rustic than I expected - plenty of old cobwebs on high areas, the odd cellar-spider, doors and windows that dont feel entirely secure, a key that takes a fair amount of wiggling and cajoling to work, chipped/damaged wood on the bathroom door, a leaking water heater above the toilet with a jug to collect, a few dinges and cracks and scrapes that could do with updating. Shower hose older and rubber tubing exposed in areas. The shower head continually turns upwards in the holder - very annoying. The bathroom has a strong sulphuric smell from the drains, and the sink just has an open sink hole. Hot water ran out very quickly while showering (one person) even with the water heater on all the time. I can't say this place was fully comfortable. On another note , the housekeeper who came to show me the place seemed very friendly but had not one single word of English, unfortunately, not even hello or yes. It meant I had no clue what she was saying, and there was a lot of confusion. Couldn't ask any questions. I worked things out myself, and it was ok, but the host knew I didn't speak Croatian, so it seemed odd to send this (nice) lady to meet me. This place is pretty basic and rustic so i would bear that in mind - there's no luxury here !

A lovely spacious, quiet apartment with a large terrace and a nice view. Marko was very helpful and quickly fixed a couple of appliance issues when they arose.

THE STEPS GOING DOWN AND UP TO APARMENT SHOULD HAVE HAND RAILS. ALSO LIGHTS. WE ALSO THINK THERE SHOULD BE A SAFETY GATE OR SOME KIND OF SAFETY ON TOP OF STAIRS. , GOING TO BATHROOM AT NIGHT ONE COULD EASILY FALL DOWN STAIRS OR ANY TIME. IT IS TOO OPEN.

Charming little flat with large terrace up a steep hill

The apartment is basic but nice and roomy. Beds are comfortable. Location is close to center of old Cavtat. Best part is the large, lovely terrace, which makes the apartment feel much bigger, because it's like an ekstra living room. The terrace is facing the road, but the trees and greenery makes it feel private. See photos. Theres is a lovely smell of fig trees in the terrace. I would definitely recommend this apartment.

It's a rather steep walk up to the apartment, so it's not suitable for elderly or people with mobility issues. I have arthritis in one knee but the walk up was not a problem for me, I just walked slowly. I actually think it was good exercise for me, but I can see it being a problem for some. The apartment could use an electric kettle, but there are pots you can use to boil water. The refrigerator is a bit strange, sometimes it freezes things. These are minor disadvantages.

Lovely apartments in a great location in Cavtat, the view from the balcony of apartment 1 is exceptional. Marko is a great host, quick to answer questions before we arrived and on-site to answer any when you are there.

Beautiful Apartment - Breathtaking Views

Lady that manages the place is so sweet and helpful. Apartment is large with stunning views and a big balcony. Kitchen is well stocked with pots/pans/dishes and utensils. Close walk to the Old Town/Promenade with restaurants and shops nearby. Highly recommend this place!
